• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

18 F3L Shifting input

So I have noticed something. When I am speeding up from a stop, and I shift, if I have the throttle steady and not moving it shifts quietly and effortlessly.

If I am increasing speed with increased throttle, sometimes the bike will slightly kick as it shifts. it is rare. Probably 1 time out of 30 shifts, but I do notice it. But only when I am increasing throttle.

It never happens if the throttle is steady.

Has anyone else experienced this and call it normal?

Yes, normal.
The transmission uses straight cut gears, so…..I believe you’re feeling the Engine/ Transmission adjusting to accomplish shifts “smoothly “. Input shaft and output shafts turning at different RPM’s ……ECM and TCM make very quick adjustments to accomplish a shift.
I was startled too when first experienced…….
