• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

12volt accessory location

Needed to install a 12 Accessory (Cig lighter) for a heated vest. Took quite awhile but I finally found the factory wiring for the frunk. If you remove the left side panel by the engine and them the left side panel on the side of the frunk, you can access the wires. I did not want the power supply in the frunk. There is no need to remove the frunk.

This pic shows the factory supplied wires and rubber hood for the frunk mounted cig lighter (just to the left of the top of the spring). This is after I dug them out with a pair of needle nose plyers.

The left side of the pic shows a screwdriver. The tip of the driver is positioned where the wires are zip tied to the frame. It is about four inches back but can be reached.
For reference, the left of the pics is the front of the Spyder.

I just connected my vest wires to the jump terminals. Built-in fuse protects things and heat controller keeps vest & gloves at the right temp.

The Jump terminals are under the left pop-up cover under the frunk lid. They used to be under the seats in earlier models but for the newer models its easier.
