• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Drove 45 minutes, most of the way was 104 and I had 4 bars (atabout 80mph, when I got to an area that was 105, it went up to 5 bars. Got off freeway and dropped speed to 60mph, and it returned to 4 bars. I think the Spyderpop mods work.

i live in Augusta Ga, ride my RS all of the time in 100+ degrees with 100% humidity. 4 bars on the highway at 70 mph or more 5 bars around town in traffic. No Spyderpops, Fan Can or Water wetter. The Spyderpops will keep the heat off of your legs as will the fan can. Acutal heat reduction in the motor is something else.

Should be btwn 100-110 over by my Moms house today in the San Gabriel Valley, so I will see how the temp gauge is.

Official temp of 110 at the San Antonio airport yesterday. This broke the 101 record. The temp gauge on BR1 read 113 but went to 107 after a few miles. I think it reads high as it never matches the bank signs. Anyway, it was warm.

I'm going for a ride tomorrow. My "ex" girlfriend bought herself a new fatboy and got her MC endorsement, so she wants to go for a ride. Not sure she's ready for the heat though... LOL... I guess she'll find out soon enough <wink>. It doesn't really bother me, just don't want any issues with the Spyder....
