09 phantom SM5 exhaust Q.....

what is the inlet/outlet diameter of the exhaust after it goes 2 into 1? I am looking at doing a custom exhaust and am going to start piecing things together.

I will eventually cut the stock can off and add a new muffler on, but need to know the size of the pipe before I start buying couplers. Thanks

i think it is 2and5/8. don't cut up your stock exhaust, you might need it at sale time. get a car 90 degree elbow at advance auto for about 7 dollars. midas will expand it for you for free, and have the other end welded to your muffler of choice. it's as simple as that. see h m exhaust in my mods section

I'd suggest you take it apart and measure it. That is the only safe way.
