• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sway Bars from Down Under

Signiture Sway Bar I have this bar installed on my RT and it is fantastic. We have winding roads everywhere here in New Zealand, no interstate highways. I have my bar set on the stiffer setting. I previously had my shocks set on four but I have now backed them off to three. With this setting I...

    Catalytic Converter Bypass

Cat Removed The cost to have the stainless pipe made was $617 (NZ dollars). I did not need new gaskets but my bike had only done 1500kms. At the time some people on this forum expressed the view that it may need a power commander fitted. I feel that it doesn't need it, but that is not to say...

    Catalytic Converter Bypass

Cat Removed I have removed the Cat from my RT and replaced it with a really nice looking stainless Y pipe that was custom made. It was done by my dealer and the mechanic is a real craftsman. The sound is fantastic with the Cat gone, has some real attitude now but not super loud, it's deeper...

    RT Exhaust Wrap

Ratings Interesting comment about the octane ratings. Your US gallon is even different from our imperial gallon, but we use litres here. So the coversion from litres to the US gallon is different again. Cheers

    RT Exhaust Wrap

RT Exhaust Hi Flybuddy, I had my bike out at the weekend. The engine is definitely more responsive, no doubt about that. It has more power but hard to say how much without running it on a dyno. It also sounds a lot better, deeper throatier and louder, but not loud loud if you know what I mean...

    RT Exhaust Wrap

Dumped Cat I have just had the Cat removed from my RT and replaced it with a really nice looking stainless Y pipe that was custom made. It was done by my dealer and the mechanic is a real craftsman. I am considering wrapping it but will wait and try it without. The sound is fantastic with the...

    RT Sway Bar

I am replacing the sway bar on my RT. Does anyone know if the front trunk can be loosened from underneath so that the trunk can be lifted. I am pretty sure that on the RS you can. This means that the new bar can be fitted by accessing all of the bolts from underneath and no body panels have to...

    RT Exhaust/Muffler

Thanks Thanks for the comments. Being a motorsport person I will probably mess with the standard muffler (can't help myself). I do prefer the look of the original one, but fully respect that others like the look of their aftermarket pipes. I will pass on the offer of the muffler for sale as...

    RT Exhaust/Muffler

Has anyone tried modifying the original RT muffler? I would like to get a slightly deeper, throatier sound but I quite like the look of the original muffler on the RT. I was thinking of opening up the muffler to see if I can remove some of the baffling, but it may be a bit of a trial and error...
