• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the best Bluetooth Headset

Agree on the scala G9's with dropped pairings and standing around banging them together to get them to pair back up. And too many buttons to be fiddling with when riding IMO. I switched to the Interfone I5 and am much happier as they talk to you through the menus so you don't have to...

Did You Get To Ride This Weekend?

about 50 miles - but it was on my other BRP toy with the name "Ski-Doo" on the side  They Spyders are hibernating in Wisconsin right now.

    New 2014 lasted 35 miles

seriously? I read through all six pages of this mystery novel post, played all those music video and clever clips, and a week later there is no happy ending to this story????? :banghead:

    bluetooth

Agree on the other comment on Cardo Scala G9 - so many buttons I can't recall which to use anymore and hate screwing with all the buttons when on a ride. I moved to the Interfone I5 system as it talks to you in the helmet so you know what it is set to- and I like the voice commands and verbal...

    Akrapovic Exhaust

Anyone ever hear of them on at Spyder RT (or better yet, ever hear one)? Any issues if you have?

    What in the world...

I have seen this same thing when I have been working on the bike (mods) for a while with the radio on and lights. When the battery is low and then it starts - it seems to reboot yet the bike is already running.

    Tree Sap

Murphy's oil soap and water or pine sol have both worked for me in the past.

3 year old gas.. Still Good???

I had three year old BOAT gas that I put in a new lawnmower to save the gas. $93 in parts and labor later I "really save a lot on that two gallons of gas!" NO - is also my thoughts.

    Still trying to get comfortable

Agree on the seat time as your first line of defense. Get some time on it above 45mph before you start adding mods and changing settings all over the place. Then, once you know where you are at as a starting place you can make the setting changes and mods you like and will know how the mods...

    Spayderfest in Austria in June

Wish I could be there. I had the privilege of touring your country last fall and spending some time in and around Innsbruck. What a beautiful country! Can only imagine how nice it would be to ride through the country side and Alps on a Spyder! (Have to admit the German Autobahn may be more fun...

    speakers

Its not just you - the sound on these really is not great even when you compare to the Harmon Kardon system on the Harley. Cant expect much from a 4.5" and 5" speaker combo though. Now, I have heard one of these on an RS - J&L Audio systems in pods - THESE THINGS ROCK!! Now if they only had...

Drove up to Americade today and had my Ultimate seat installed...

Looks great and the blending on the Honey Burl wood really does make this look nice. The wood glove box is subtle enough that people dont really notice that the wood grain is there but with it removed it is a huge void. You will get lots of comments from people when you stop places now (I...

    9 months of limp mode!!!!

Ya - no kidding on this here comment ! Motor homes are DOUBLE the fun. You get to maintain both vehicle systems AND house systems. Large boats are the same too with maintaining marine engine systems and propulsion systems - and the same house systems as the motorhome.

I'm about to order a new seat and am leaning towards the Ultimate...

It looks good on the pic but it is very "rich" looking in person. My wife gets tons of compliments when she pulls up on it (and I don't even get noticed with the carbon fiber dash on mine).

I'm about to order a new seat and am leaning towards the Ultimate...

Ya - thats it. I knew it had something "coffee" related but I kept coming up with Espresso instead of Java.... oops.

I have that same seat you are talking about - BIG improvement from stock and does not ride "hot". Also shown with Spyderwraps Honey Burl dash kit.

    Too many lights? Too bight?

The other thing that will affect the aim point of the head lights is the air pressure in the rear shock. As it goes down your aim-point for the head lights will go up. Very important to follow the procedure when you are setting the aim per the instructions or you may find that what you thought...

Love our RT limited, but I think its time for

you will notice the difference in the position pretty quickly. I recently updated the stock seats on two machines - both to ultimate but one remained the conventional sitting position and the other (mine) I moved to the "Tall Boy" that gives an additional 1.5" in position. I can tell...
