• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    SM5 Clutch slave cylinder 2011 RT A/C

Has anyone changed the O rings in the slave cylinder, was it difficult? Did you get the kit from the dealer or the O rings from another source? Called the dealer and they quoted about $14.00 for the kit and told me the master cylinder was not repairable, replace it for about $250.00? Master...

Troubles installing Utopia Back Rest 2012 RT SE5 A&C

Back Rest Take the passenger back rest off (3 screws), this gives you easy access to the bolts for the seat. Cover the holes with a rag so if you drop something it doesn't go in the black hole. This makes it a whole lot easier to to line up the bars. Dave

Laser Alignment Thanks to HG & FB for hosting the event and to Harvey for making the trip to Houston. Great job. Big improvement after the alignment. I left about noon and Harvey had done 8 bikes from '09 to '13 and every one was out of alignment. This is a must do for anyone who hasn't done...

    Finally got it done!

Kudos to Ron for the sway-bar and Pit Bull for the shock re-locators. :ohyea: Like everyone says it's a different ride, feels like it's on rails when going around a turn. Sway-bar was easy install, great instructions. Re-locators were a little hard due to the confined area but got it done...

    Panels

2011 RT. Can some one tell me if I can remove the panel that houses the fog lights without having to remove a lot of other tupper ware to give me better access to the upper shock mount. Got shock re-locators and can't get a handle on the nut which is facing forward. Thanks in advance, Dave...

    Thermal event

After reading all the posts about Ann's fire, glad she is fine and kept her wits and was able to get the spyder off the road and away from it before it went up in flames. This is just my thought. Someone said they were going to start carrying a fire extinguisher, that's fine. But how...

    15,000 mile service

If you can turn a wrench most of the maint. you can do yourself except hooking up to Buds. But there is also "the warranty" you have to consider if something happens. Your dealer is blowing a lot of smoke! Like others have said, find another dealer. My opinion is some of the dealers are trying...

    Fuel and Belt Question

Thanks for the response. I always reset the tripometer when I fuel. My fuel light comes on close to 130 miles or a little more depending how I'm driving it, around town it's less. The most I've put in the tank was 5.8 gal. guess I was cutting it close. :yikes: Thanks, Dave :)

    Fuel and Belt Question

#1- Has anyone been able to determine how much useable fuel we can count on in the RT? I know the manual says 6 1/2 gal. but the design doesn't allow that. #2- Can you mount the "missing belt guard" and the "smooth spyder tensioner" together? Am considering both but not sure if both can be...
