• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Review: Cobra HH RT 50 CB Radio - ROAD TRIP

I ride with a group of people and often our rides can have upwards of 10 bikes. It's important for road captains and tail gunners to communicate for moving the group safely and also for alerting to problems a rider may have, such as a flat tire. When something like this happens, the group pulls...

Review: Cobra HH RT 50 CB Radio - ROAD TRIP

PaladinLV, I am looking for a CB to use with the Sena SR10. From your write up I am getting that you are using the same cord from the Sena to the Cobra that you used with the Midland. Is that correct? I am trying to figure out if the Midland cord from Sena will work with the Cobra CB. Thanks.

    Need a BRP customer advocate

So, finally called the dealer. The part is supposed to arrive Friday. If it gets there early enough they will have the bike done by Friday afternoon for us. I'm betting we won't be riding this weekend either. At this point, I don't know if it's even worth a call to BRP since the part has an...

    Need a BRP customer advocate

Thanks for the replies. My dealer won't open again until Tuesday. I will give them a call and see if the part showed. If not, I guess a call to BRP is in order.

    Need a BRP customer advocate

Hi all, I've been a member for a long time, but seldom post. Have had mostly trouble free riding with my 2011 RT Limited with @ 25k miles and still under extended warranty until Aug. 2016. However, on March 22, I took the spyder in for service, brakes and new back tire. When I left I got my...

    Thumbs up to BRP!!!

So glad you are enjoying it. We've had only a minor glitch way in the beginning of spyder riding - I can't even remember what it was. Our dealer got everything straightened out and we've had over 10k trouble free miles. We love our spyder!

    Huge Thank You...

 Yes, it was a wonderful day and fabulous weather, too! Thanks Lamont and Chris for being so gracious to once again having a wonderful gathering at your place. :dg2: I hope you can both take a deep breath now and relax a bit. You've more than earned it!

    I love cats

There was a similar thread a little while back that I effectively killed with this suggestion. I've used this tip with great success: This is cheap and simple: Get some of the plastic carpet protector. It comes on a big roll at Lowes or other home place. It has little points that keep it from...

    Southern Cruisers NETN Rally

This isn't a spyder only group, they welcome everyone. We are new members of the NETN Chapter and they are having their annual rally, a 3 day event, June 20-23 in Johnson City, TN. For more info if you'd like to participate, go to Ridge Runner Weekend 2013 . Hope to see some other fellow spyder...

I know, this is a weird question...

I didn't read every post, but this will work and it's cheap and simple: Get some of the plastic carpet protector. It comes on a big roll at Lowes or other home place. It has little points that keep it from sliding on the carpet. Put it pointy side up to keep kitty off. I used this for large...

RT Sway Bar Owners Notice - Please Read

Ron, our dealer - East Tennessee ATV in Elizabethton, TN- just got our sway bar in yesterday or today (March 14 or 15) I'm thinking the longer bolts are already included, correct? They are likely working on the install later today or Monday.

    High pitched noise when shifting

Robby, I am going to ask my dealer about it. They are Lamont's dealer, too and really good guys. I'm sure if Lamont had time he'd chime in, but he's got his hands full right now with his son. This noise isn't a priority, not even for me. *LOL* I just wanted to know if I was the only one who has...

    High pitched noise when shifting

Gads, sorry I took so long to get back to this thread. I haven't even gotten around to taking it in, but I'll surely mention it when I do. I'm not particularly worried about it. It's just barely noticeable, but it is there. A big thanks to all who offered insight. :) We use Cardos for our...

    High pitched noise when shifting

It's on my list when I take it in in the next week or so. Just thought I'd ask here and see if anyone else noticed this or had any ideas about it.
