• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Razor Trailers

Thanks for all the posts. I have also found an Aluma Trailer for double motorcycles. Both about the same price before add-ons but the Aluma one is a bit longer than I need. Now to just pick one.... One last question to Alabama and Softail. Are you also pleased with the quality of the build...

    Razor Trailers

Needing a trailer for the RT and have looked at several. This one seems to use the KISS principle in its design and makes it easy to ride on and off. Does anyone have any experience with this trailer or have better options? http://razortrailers.com/ Much thanks for all comments.

    New RT Passeneger Armrests

Just watched the video at the Can-Am store. I agree, they do not look to extend very far. Do there come out about mid arm, or just past the elbow? I know, it all relative to the passenger's arm, but it is a good indication.

    Battery charging, Garmin 590.

This might have been mentioned, but keep in mind the 590 has to "off" states. A simple push of the power button will put it in sleep mode. If you hold the button down, it will prompt you asking if you really want to power the unit off.

Does my 2012 RT Base Model have ECO Mode?

Not meaning to sidetrack the post, but this does bring up a good question. What shifting RPM to you use to get the best MPH? I hear of people getting well into the 30's for gas mileage. I am good to get 30 and that is with highway mileage. I don't think I am hard on the throttle and...

    Genous Maps

Rever is a bit of both. Looks like you can create routes, publish routes, socialize all within the same app. Here is a link to their website https://rever.co. What I find odd is the offline feature for using their maps is part of their subscription plan for $59.99 / year. Makes the app a bit...

    Fatigue From Riding

I agree with the RT being a good choice. You might also look at the back rests that can be added for the driver. They can fold down for the passenger to climb on and off, but might give you some extra support during the ride. Sounds like adding the option to have a hand brake is a must as...

    What the co-pilot sees

Hmmm, I have to admin, my mind went another direction. I was expecting to see a picture of the back of a helmet. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: That's what my co-pilot tells me she sees all the time...

Let Me Tell You A Story....

Ron, You are correct, kudos go to her for listening to a voice of reason and going that extra mile to diagnose the problem and fix it herself. However, I say kudos to you as well for helping her in this way. You could have sent her new parts and when the issue persisted washed your hands...

    New GOP gun law.

Man, you must live in the liberal bubble. There are so many courts that are trying to legislate from the bench. That is not within their power to do. Take a deep breath and come out of the bubble UtahPete, come out of the bubble.....

    New GOP gun law.

More laws are not the issue. The true issue is enforcement of the existing laws. We need to get a judicial system that is concerned with enforcement the laws and not legislating what they want the laws to be.
