• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Failing sensors

I love my spyder but continuing failures are getting real old . It is now back in the shop due to failed fuel system sensors. It has been a long winter and want to be ridding when I can. Just really frustrated at this point. Common BRP I don't even have 12000 miles on it and it...

    Winter Blues, very frustrated!

Seems I have a post winter problem.:opps: Spyder was running great in the fall when we pulled it into storage, but my man child may have screwed up. He was winterizing all the "rec" vehicles which is drain the tanks and leave the caps off. Last winter I had filled the tank and added...

    Sprocket Assembly Destruction

The Spyder has never been on unpaved roads, I know better. Got a response from BRP, ;) seems it may be a dealer issue since they never filed a claim. Pretty sure I know exactly what happened and it is a newbie Spyder dealer. Will discuss it with them when I go and pick up my ride.

    Sprocket Assembly Destruction

This was clearly not normal wear and tear given the age and milage of the machine. I also wonder how road debris could have gotten into a closed sprocket assembly, perhaps bad engineering again. Thought if nothing else then the BEST extendend warrantee would have coverage. Once again I am...

    Sprocket Assembly Destruction

Just finished a 4400 mile road trip taking my Spyder from NorCal to Iowa ;), at the end of the trip a high pitch squeel started in the rear end:(. Limped it into the dealer and they are saying the entire sprocket assembly as well as the belt has to be replaced due to road debris getting into...

    Spyder dead again

Well the bike sits at the dealership waiting on warranty repair approval from BRP. May be the radio issue posted recently. Actually got an email from Carlo last week. I have replied to him both via email and phone but no love back. I am so tired of this non-sense, if I treated my clients this...

    Spyder dead again

This an ongoing saga, and I love my spyder but with only 3000 miles and it going back to the shop again I wonder if I have a lemon. First day riding it ceased up and would not roll. They tried to blame it on me, but their logic was impossible to do so eventually they ponied up for the repairs...

Is the RT stable at highway speeds?

I am a newbe too, :yikes: at least with a third wheel. I think it is a matter of learning, especially if you are a two wheeler. You are going to have to unlearn some things. My tendency is over control, as I finally figured out yesterday driving through the mountains. Once I let go just a little...

This was never a problem before :sour: the put put went in for service, and maybe I am an idiot but now the frunk will not open :(. Paid no attention to it until I needed to actually use all that RT-S storage. Made it home, but was lucky this was a light trip
