• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer Light Control Module for 2015 RT-S

I've looked, and there doesn't seem to be a non-BRP on the market (someone is obviously making it for them). I've gone through 2 modules and learned this the hard way- TURN OFF ALL POWER WHEN CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING THE TRAILER'S ELECTRICAL PLUG!

My DIY LED lighting for $40

Hey Bill- That product is sold under many names. I've installed it for friends several times and it works very well. For my bike, I wanted Wifi remoting to control it from my phone and the possibility of adding DMX control to it in the future. Hence, I sent a different control direction...

    Tricled lighting question

Sorry for the delay Dave. I don't check SL every day, these days.... I added the labeling for my own sanity. After adding all the LEDs and floods to the frunk, I needed a quick disconnect method to be able to take the frunk off, so to keep my mind straight... the labels. ACTUALLY.... I had the...

    Tricled lighting question

In Summary... 1. Again... in summary.... if you do only the ones you mention you WILL be fine. 2. AND... remember, as full disclosure, if you have any issue with the bike and take it to a dealer that is skiddish about LEDs, their goto will be- "I told you so" when there is a 99% chance that...

    Cruise Control Replacement

Yep. I looked at the wiring diagrams and took mt 2010 RT to the dealer to do my right cluster replacement. It took them an entire day. You are 100% right.

This is a lousy couple of pics, but these are some of the connectors used to get the lighting to the frunk----

My DIY LED lighting for $40

Great work Bob! You're correct about the planning and plenty of connectors! I have loads of hand schematics over the years to keep me sane! One of my tricks is to run 'bus' wires along the frame and then tap on to it where needed. On DARTH II, there are 3 zones of RGB, so there are 3 sets of...

    Tricled lighting question

Bob is right about the education. And sometimes, THAT doesn't work as well as you'd like. So far, my dealer has cut wires when I CLEARLY showed him where the connectors were (his cut was about 6" from the connector). That was about a year ago and I havn't been back since. ONE way you can...
