• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

I'm wondering the same thing. I just purchased a 2024 S2S with 375 miles on it. I just came in from a ride and turned over 1000 miles. 3000 miles seems a lot for the first oil change so I'm considering having the dealer do one soon. Mostly because I don't have the jacks and stands for it yet...

My 2024 S2S Seat has no strut - did BRP discontinue them?

Those with a 2024 Sea to Sky, did BRP just delete/discontinue the struts that hold the seats up for fueling? The dealer was as helpful as usual when I asked the question. 😠

New Owner of a 2024 Sea to Sky.

Practically no miles on them and too new for dryrot. I checked pressures before riding it and they were only down a couple of pounds after sitting for several months. I'm hoping I can get normal mileage from them before replacing.

Yep, got the cheap battery. Already planning to replace in the next year, if not sooner.

Thanks for the tip! I did check the rod and it was attached.

New Owner of a 2024 Sea to Sky.

Thanks for the tip! The Goldwing has a very similar procedure to check the oil, though for different reasons. When I first got the Wing I found that it had been overfilled by a quart, so I am meticulous in following the manufacturer's procedure. Luckily for me, the 1833 Wing engine is one of...

New Owner of a 2024 Sea to Sky.

After months of indecision, my wife and I took the plunge when we found a 2024 S2S with 375 miles on it. The owner purchased and was shortly after diagnosed with a condition that leaves him on O2 24 hours a day. It came with an extended warranty and he threw in two new helmets and Cardo coms...

    1st Week on a Spyder

Welcome. Like you, and I'm going to miss my wing, but I'm tired of the effort to keep her stable riding two up most of the time.

RT Rear Trunk looks likely to wear where I press it to close it - is there anything to stop that?

My 2018 Goldwing has the same issue with soft paint, so it's not just Can Am. I'm not a Harley fan at all, but their fit and finish is far superior. At least that's what I'm told by Harley guys😁

What windshield bug cleaner do you use?

Used dryer sheets and plain water. Dry with a microfiber cloth. I use rainex for plastic and that helps the bugs from sticking too badly. The used dryer sheets won't scratch the screen but have soft fibers that help loosen the bugs. They are also free from hotel laundry rooms when traveling. I...

Where are you from? Where do you live?

Suburb of Denver. Pros: Awesome scenery and roads. I can ride all year. Cons: Traffic around Denver. Politics.

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

Excuse my ignorance, I'm going to ask a lot of questions on this forum. So, in the Goldwing world, running a car tire (dark side, it's called). Dealers will not mount them, nor will car tire dealers. Is that an issue with the Spyder? I get no one wanting to mount a car tire on a two wheeler...

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

Thanks again for the responses. So what kind of mods can recover the lost ground clearance? And how expensive does that get? Thanks again!

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

Thanks all for the responses. @Mikey, I don't think I will buy this years model (2025). I'm depreciation averse. 😏 But a local dealer here has some leftover '24's with reasonable discounts that I may try to work a deal on. Otherwise, I'll look for the latest year with the lowest mileage. My...

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

New on this forum and considering an RTL to replace my 2018 GoldWing. Ground clearance is a big issue on the Goldwing and looking through the threads here it seems to be an issue on the Spyder as well. On the Goldwing I have to be really careful just leaving and entering my driveway because of a...
