• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    What did you do to your Spyder today?

    Weather has been decent in Germany in the last 10 days or so; I rode my RTL to work every day. A bit chilly in the mornings (0-2 C, 36 F) but decent in the afternoon (up to 16 C, 60F). Beautiful weekend, up to 68F, a couple of nice rides. Got the service done yesterday, dealer is 1 hr away...

    I really appreciate a full explanation, thank you. The little round lights in headlights are working in mine; it's just the ones in fog lights housing are not. Oh, well.

    I hope this is not too far off the topic. Newbee question: 2019 RTL, looks as little round lights within fog light housing are not doing anything, meaning they are not on when fog lights are activated. Is this normal? Thanks.

    Ha, I am American on a US military base in Germany. And my Spyder is US spec. I have a service appointment scheduled for early March with the local Can Am dealer, I will try to ask them.

    https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls shows "0 Unrepaired Recalls associated with this VIN". 2019 RTL, looks as all is good and my Spyder is not affected. Great!

    So, is there a way to find out whether a specific VIN is affected? I have 2019 RT with low mileage (it's been sitting for a couple of years), does it automatically mean the recall must be completed? Thanks.

    I was thinking SAE to alligator clips pigtail; I already have fused wire connected from the battery to SAE. Wouldn't it work?

    Newbee question here: I think my RTL beeps profusely if I don't set up the parking brake after I turn the ignition off...
