• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does Apple CarPlay work well on your Spyder?

Well well, for some reason I decided to change the way we hook up on the Spyder. I was having lots of issues and I don’t really know the city we are visiting and the area right now, so since paper maps doesn’t exist no more, I need this to start for every run, and what worked before the updates...

Apple CarPlay update - what is the secret to getting it working properly??

I have been having lot of troubles, not getting CarPlay to start, freezing, ect. then one day I wiggled the cable connecting to the iPhone (genuine cable) I have used this same cable since I first owned my 2024. I discovered that the cable was now bad. It did work fine for a long time. I...

Any Adapters - 4 pin square to 4 pin flat for trailer hitch?

I bought a square 4 pin and a flat 4 pin on amazon and made myself a little harness (from etrailer). That way, I have the exact sizing for my setup.

Where should I invest first to improve stability - shocks or a stabilizer bar

I did both, in the spring before riding again, and I’m super happy with the way it handles now… totally love it!

Pedal Box causing Code P2135 - anyone else had issues? Any ideas?

Got the pro… it doesn’t have a wire, so I can take it off the bike and store it in the trunk.

Did an upgrade Sway Bar improve your handling? Which one? And what about Shocks?

Certainly did, 2 up 95% of the time. I did the Lamonster Swaybar setup for 2 strongest setting (it has 2 setup holes) and Elka shocks all around. Pricey for sure, but I have no regrets, great ride. It was way too soft before.

What do you think is the Best Full Cover For Travel? How big is the storage pouch?

Ultra guard half cover… doesn’t take much space on my RT S2S (same as a Limited).

Apple CarPlay update - what is the secret to getting it working properly??

For me, things seem worse since I updated the dash in April after it was out of winter storage. I now get these Bluetooth errors; sometimes it works, sometimes not; stop for coffee, and then it works… or not; freeze the map… can’t select anything; it’s all over the maps… ridiculous! And yes, I...

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

Riding equipment is not design for a hit at 100 km from a deer jumping in front of you. It might limit the damage (maybe) but ultimately, riding in a open cage carries some risk. You need to decide if it’s worth the freedom and fun it brings. A friend hit a moose not long ago with his Spyder RT...

Installed my INNOVV ThirdEYE Motorcycle Blind Spot System - very impressed!

I forgot to mention - it also works the exactly the same when I tow my RT-622 trailer (I've done around 4500 Km’s with it) so it definitely knows there's an object back there... This device also tracks multiple vehicles at the same time, so perhaps the trailer is just one of them??
