• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Time to put in some new rivets - the Spyder Panel Kit

That's a LOT of pins! :ROFLMAO:

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

Well, I'm home, and despite planning a fairly boring ride without any twisties, my plans only lasted about an hour. On the way to the event I got side-tracked by an accident that closed the road I was planning to use, and ended up on 18 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway at 8pm or so at night. It...

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. As a former 2-wheel rider I am very aware that I can't lean into turns on my Spyder, but have learned about weight shifting into the turn, which is about as much as you can do on a 3-wheeler. And the new BajaRon sway bar and end links are going...

CarPlay Froze, then entire Head Unit Froze Up While Riding, then supposedly updated and rebooted on the Highway - Anyone else had this happen?

So I've been here in Maggie Valley, NC at the Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures event since Monday. Other than one location we went to that was located in a valley with limited cell service, Apple CarPlay has worked perfectly. I even used it to navigate to the next town over to pick up something...

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

Changing how it is able to take the turns is not the same as enjoying driving through twisty roads. At this point I'm not ready to throw more money into making my Spyder do something I don't enjoy. :p

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

So here I am at the Spyder Adventures Rally in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, surrounded by a ton of Spyders, mostly RTs and F3s, and a fair number of Harley Davidson's too. I did see one Canyon, but I'm pretty sure it was parked in front a vendor's tent in order to draw people in, as it's been...

Looking for a Spyder Front End Alignment service in the Nashville, middle TN area; or a Rally coming up with a vendor doing that - any suggestions?

I'm currently at the Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures rally in Maggie Valley, NC. Baja Ron is here, and I did buy a swaybar and end links from him, and his mechanic installed them for me. And he has a bunch of stuff for sale. I checked and don't see alignments listed on his website. There was...

For those going to Maggie Valley next week, Keep an eye on the weather!

I'll be leaving Maggie Valley tomorrow morning. And as much as I'd like to head North on I-40 the North Carolina Department of Transportation is still reporting problems on I-40 South of the Tennessee border, with only one lane in each direction open, and speeds limited to 35 MPH. So I'll be...

For those going to Maggie Valley next week, Keep an eye on the weather!

I got here a little after 8 pm on Monday night, after leaving home at 10 am for the 5 hour drive to Maggie Valley. First problem: a TN State Trooper blocking the road with his cruiser and directing everyone to detour. I later learned there was a bad accident involving a motorcycle fatality...

    Hidden Surcharges shouldn't be allowed!

I have been known to be petty, so I'd file a formal complaint through the corporate office. And I'd do what Gwolf suggested and spend your money elsewhere.

After some True Can-Am insight - will I be making a huge mistake buying the RTL or F3?

Interesting that they left the Garmin mount, since the 2020's didn't come with a GPS from CAN-AM. The 2018's did have a Garmin GPS option from CAN-AM. I will say that when I first got my 2024 Spyder I "hardwired" a Garmin GPS mount to the accessory power port. That required removing several of...

For those going to Maggie Valley next week, Keep an eye on the weather!

I just checked the North Carolina Department of Transportation website. https://drivenc.gov/?type=incident&id=713873 It says: Sounds like 1 lane is open in each direction, and speeds are significantly reduced, but you can still get through. Google maps thinks Cold Springs Creek Road is...

Have you checked the pressure in both tires?

For those going to Maggie Valley next week, Keep an eye on the weather!

I'll be arriving on Monday, probably late afternoon. Weather.com is currently using the terms "occasional" and "intermittent" for showers on Tuesday, with "a shower or two" early on Wednesday. My hotel reservation runs through Saturday, so I'll be there for all of the events. I'm still going...

I've gone from ATGATT to H (just Helmet).

Well, that might cause a problem. On the other side of the back wall of the garage is the laundry room and the master bath. I've heard of Harley riders that bring their bikes inside their homes, but I'm not quite there yet.
