• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got the BajaRon rear caliper parking brake tool, need the two small stainless steel clips that hold pads - where do I order them?

Good morning all! I have a 2014 Spyder RTL that I am needing the rear caliper hardware. Yesterday I ordered the BajaRon parking brake adjustment tool so I could retract the parking brake without using needlenose pliers. The two small stainless steel clips that hold the pads are looking a little...

2014 Spyder RTL Right floorboard doesn't release & drop down - ideas why not?

I will do it. Thanks for the info and I am looking forward to seeing how these pads work on the RT. Always used them on the 2 wheelers I had and loved them.

2014 Spyder RTL Right floorboard doesn't release & drop down - ideas why not?

Thanks to all of that that responded. I installed the speedbleeders tonight, installed the new EBC HH brake pads and bled the system. As soon as I started to bleed the system and the brake pedal went all the way down, the floorboard dropped. So, you all were right and I appreciate the responses...

2014 Spyder RTL Right floorboard doesn't release & drop down - ideas why not?

Thanks everyone for the replies! Coming off 2 wheels and going to the RT is a whole new world to me. My speedbleeders came in yesterday and I will install them tonight so I can flush the brake system and I am ASSUMING, that when I do and the brake pedal hits the floorboard, the floorboard will...

2014 Spyder RTL Right floorboard doesn't release & drop down - ideas why not?

I am relatively new to Spyders, having just sold my BMW and moving to this RT. I see people talking about the right floorboard dropping when brake is pushed hard. You can stand on mine and it will never go down, no matter how hard you push the brake or stand on the front of the floorboard. The...

What are these Splined lug nuts?

OK guys, I have found the splined lug wrench. I didn't know there was a "tool kit" under the seat of the bike. Looked there and lo and behold, it was in the "tool kit." It is a McGard and the wheels are PPA. So it was just my bad at not knowing that there was a place for tools. This makes me...

What are these Splined lug nuts?

Thanks everyone for the welcome and the information on the splined lug nuts. I will try and see if I can reach the original owner and see if he has it and failing that, I will see if I can get some measurements off the spines and order one. I will let you all know what I find out. Thanks again...

What are these Splined lug nuts?

Good afternoon everyone. First post here and looking through the threads, I haven't seen this addressed anywhere. I am coming off 55 years of riding 2 wheels, the last two on BMWs. Recently bought a used 2014 Spyder RT Limited and was going over routine maintenance issues. Started to remove the...

Hey Ya'll We Got A New Member! Lets welcome SirRonny to SL

Good evening everyone, Thanks for the welcome and I am a long time motorcycle rider, 70 years old and on my 35th motorcycle right now. My last bikes have been BMWs, but my aging legs are telling me it is time to get something a little more stable, so I am thinking of a Spyder and am trying to...
