• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Corbin vs Ultimate

Have had both. Corbin looked good and was well made, but was a little to firm for my liking. Loved my Ultimate and the customer service was excellent. To do again? I'd definitely go Ultimate. YMMV! :-) Good luck!

    F3S Battery tender

Ran my wire out the back side of the battery box, along the frame to the panel on the left side of the bike. Very convenient. (BTW, she is still for sale. Now asking $13,500.)

F3 Headlight Stickers look like eyes.

Haven't had any problems, but the bugs tend to stick to them! :-)

    News Gets Worse for Harley

You can understand the economics of the move, but you can also understand why the employees are a little raw. The company gets a windfall from the new tax laws. They buy back 15 million shares, bump the dividend a 1/2 cent, and then.... wait for it.... close a plant here, open one overseas and...

    F3 Limited floorboard

I bought the CanAm floorboards for my F3S. Correct, they are fixed, but I agree that the angle is very comfortable. Good luck.

New Spyder Owner here with a million dollar question

Might as well wait on the belt dampener. Put some miles on and if you get the vibration in that 67-72 mph range, you can install one very easily. Don't know if you need the new rear shock if you are riding solo, but that too can be answered with a few hundred miles on her. Two up, might want to...

    Another BajaRon Swaybar Question....

FYI, my stock 2015 F3S tracked very nicely going down the road, but everyone on this forum seemed to think that getting a laser alignment was the thing to do because factory settings are outta whack 9 out of 10 times. Got Squared Away to look her over at the Deadwood Rally and, sure 'nuf, the...

    Another BajaRon Swaybar Question....

Do it! Do it!! Do it!!! A couple weeks ago, I returned from a trip to the CO Rockies with my stock F3S. Had a blast and the machine worked just fine. I came back to SD to find the Deadwood Rally in progress, so I took my bike in to have Harvey install the new sway bar. Just 5 minutes, on the way...

    New Member Looking to Purchase

I know you are used to the clutch, but my experience is, once you get used to the semi-auto trx, you won't want to go back. Certainly, to each his own, but be sure to test drive the auto trx. Best of luck on your choice!

    Spyderpops customer service AAA+++++++

Deadwood Rally 2017 Hey Folks, Add me to the list... a shout out to Harvey and the boys. Got my new sway bar installed on my F3S. WOW, what a difference. Not only is she more fun to ride, but it is almost a safety issue in the real twisties. Just got back from a trip to the Rockies with the...

    Lack of problems.....observation

I have to admit that I had a very marginal experience when I got into the Spyder family. First trike was a 2013 RTL. Don't have to say much about that. I, myself, did not have problems, but the reputation for heat and burning up on the side of the road was there. After monitoring those that...

    Deadwood Rally

Quick question, if you don't mind. Is Vendor Village open to the public or only those who register? I live in the area and have done most of these rides a couple times this year, and just got back from a trip thru Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park, but I would like to get a laser alignment and a sway bar...

Will they fit in the F-3 frunk for X-countries? :-)

Trying to decide on the right model

I have an F3S but have had 2 RTs. I am only 5'6" and, altho I had no problems handling an RT, I am really more comfortable on the F3 and enjoy it more. Keep in mind that you can adjust the F3 more than you can the RT as far as handle bars and brake/foot rest positions. And - BONUS - you can now...

    Is an F3 for me?

Many of the twin engine bikes are fine. You get used to the hi rev, and actually, it's sorta fun! :-) The thing I really didn't like was the range. The 3 cylinder engines will give you the range of your H/D, but the twins will give you the range of a SPORTSTER! That was really a pain...

Looking real hard at a Spyder F3-T

Happy to know that you came out on the better end of your encounter! Myself, I had ridden mostly H/Ds since the '80s, everything from a Deuce to an Ultra. Enjoyed my experience, BUT... I went back to for a high scool reunion and went for a ride with an old friend who had ridden H/Ds for a...

Moving from RT to F3 - Have a few questions for those who have done this

Hi Mark, I had a 2013 RT and a 2014 RT and switched to a 2015 F3-S. I switched for a couple of reasons. I never had problems with my 2013 RT, but I knew the heat issue was going to be an issue for resale or trade, eventually. So I waited for the reports on the 2014s with the new engine. Reports...
