• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Honda to present Neowing Tilting three wheeler at Tokyo Motor Show

I will reserve judgement on this trike until such time as the specs become available. If this prototype ever reaches production it will be geared to those riders who want to spend a few more years in the seat without worrying about dropping a 1000 lb. two wheeler in the middle of a parking lot...

    Lets talk about rider fatigue.

Noise Just thought I would add my two cents to the great advice already doled out. I found that when I wear a set of ear plugs I feel far less fatigued when riding longer distances. I had custom made plugs made at a hearing clinic and was amazed at how effective they were in shutting out wind...

    Emergency Brake Not Locking

I would pull off the right side panel and check the following: 1) Is the cable still attached to the parking brake pulley; If not then attach and re-test 2) Does the parking brake motor operate when the switch is pressed; If not, then check the Parking Brake motor connectors. You might have...

    Don't Focus on the Negative!

Rattigan Roger ...... when I once tried to apologized for not acknowledging his input to a question I posted here sometimes back, issued these sage words that have never been forgotten... " You don't have the power to offend me" . Brilliant come back and I searched diligently to discover...

    Seat heat option

There are plenty of suppliers in Canada that carry the Heat Demon motorcycle seat warmer kits. However, if one of the Spyderlover sponsors carries this item at a comparable "delivered cost" then I would recommend you support that sponsor.

Recommendations Entering Canada at Detroit, either through the Tunnel or over the Ambassador Bridge is very straight forward and as safe as any other freeway experience in any other city in the U.S.. Once across the border, you have the option of travelling a few hours up Hwy 401 and heading...

    spyder to car communications

Suggest you might want to purchase a portable FRS two way radio. set both units to the same channel and you are good to go. No real need to mount it. Just put it in some accessible place where you can reach it with your left hand and you have a simple and inexpensive tool to have two way...

Something I'd Like To See On My Spyder

Shift Lights I saw a Ecliptech Shift-i Progressive Shift Light on a sport bike last year mounted directly above his speedometer. It had the Blue/Red combo and was quite visible in the sunlight. I asked him if it was an easy install and he basically said that if you had a wiring diagram you...

Looking for a GOOD throttle lock

Kaoko Throttle Lock The Kaoko throttle lock, although not thumb operated, is very well engineered and easy to use with the palm of your hand. Not the least expensive option out there, but I have used this on several of my two wheeled motorcycles in the past and can attest to its functionality...

what to replace analog gauge with

For me I would go with a Digital Voltmeter. Easy install and it monitors your battery condition as you travel. This is especially useful information if you are running heated gear or auxilary lights when riding at low rpm's (Battery does not receive a charge when rpms are less than 4000...don't...

TRED WEAR CHANGING NAME NEED HELP PLEASE

Sorry, my mistake. On the plus side you really do have a clean slate to pick an appropriate name for your company. I still think incorporating "tire lettering" into the name makes sense, since that is what people will gravitate to when performing a search for your product. All the best.

TRED WEAR CHANGING NAME NEED HELP PLEASE

Suggestion If you are thinking about re branding, especially in this age of internet searches, I suggest that you think about what people might "Google" if they are looking for the the type of product you produce. The company name TredWear does not automatically make one think of custom...

    Digital Compass and Temp Guage

http://www.egauges.com/UltraGage-Digital-Blue-Ice-Black-s/21170.htm was my source for the Cyberdyne Gauges. Ask around locally and maybe an automotive or marine shop might carry them. If you buy from egauges just make sure you ask them to ship by US Postal Service so that you do not have...

    Digital Compass and Temp Guage

Gauge replacements After removing the fuel and temperature gauges on my 2010 RT I first replaced these gauges with an analog Volt and an Oil pressure gauge. Within a few months I switched these out for digital Voltage (left) and Ambient temperature gauges (Right). I spliced into the original...

Wireless Headsets on a Schuberth C3 Pro Helmet

C3 and Sena Wireless Here are a few links describing the procedure(s) for mounting the Sena unit on a C3 helmet. Bottom line is that you need to mount the Sena to the helmet with the adhesive mounting kit. It is well described in these discussions on other forums. Hope this helps. FYI: I...
