• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RTL headlights not lighting up

Problem solved. It was the F4 fuse in the right box…schematic indicated it fed a number of things downstream. Fuse looked ok but showed no continuity. Popped a new one in and all is well. Thanks for the advice-

Success! That was it…F4 fuse was dead. Looked ok from the outside but no continuity when tested. Installed a new one and we’re golden. Thanks for all the help…and to you Pete fir the schematic…that helped a bunch-

Great information guys. I received the wiring schematic from Pete and agree the F4 fuse needs rechecking. Yes, the previous owner had installed mirror trim LEDS as well as a under nose light bar. Wiring could have gotten changed a bit from factory at that time. Hard to say. I’ll be digging down...

2014 RTL headlights not lighting up

Thanks. I’m not hearing that at all. Also, no tail lights or brake lights, but turn signals work fine. Only one pin in the R1&2 headlamps relay socket in the right box had voltage…the 2nd from the left at the top. None of tge R2 relays four pins shows any with the relays removed.

Additional info…no voltage detected at the LED bulb plug nor at either post of the F1 and F2 fuses on right side. Digging into T1 & 2 on the right box now.

2014 RTL headlights not lighting up

Following this…what was the verdict? Did new bulbs fix the issue? I’m struggling with the same problem but the likelihood of both sides going out at one time while setting on the shop floor are quite high. I don’t have power to any of the R6 relay socket pins, but have voltage at the other...

That’s a thought but unfortunately no. I had the right LED out, left was not touched. The running lights in the fenders are dead as well. It’s as if whatever allows power to come to the light circuit once the engine is started is not doing so once the engine is running. At least one pin of that...

So…a bit more information. Pulled what I believe to be the headline relay in the left side fuse box. I’m not finding voltage on any of the pins in the socket with the relay removed. Checked hi and low beam fuses in the right box and they seem fine. I did test another fuse slot to verify I’m...

Yes, I’ve read that as well as followed a YouTube video. I believed the lights needed the aim adjustment…may help, and that was my next step, up until the point they didn’t come on. I’ve never worked with the shutters. While that wouldn’t cause them to both go out completely, it is possible it...

No, I don’t hear that. Not sure if I could with the engine running though…???

Good day all- Purchased a 2016 RT this summer. One fog light was out, the headlights seemed to not be very good. Pulled all the necessary covers off to access them. Installed the two new LED fog lights and turned the bike on to make sure they worked. They do, but my main upper lights are not on...
