• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I am a rider who uses a full-face helmet. Pretty hard to drink from a water bottle or cup when you’re helmeted, so I use a hydration pack on some of my rides.

    I use a couple old helmet bags to hold my clothes and toiletries for our rides and they both fit in the side saddlebags quite nicely. Rain gear and other gear stays in the frunk for when it’s needed.

    Those radiator ports are bug catchers. The 2019 that I bought used ran much hotter than the current model does. I had put finer screens in that one, which is why I put extra screens in the 23.     Interesting thread. I was thinking of starting a thread about sport mode on our '23 RTL. After reading all of this I am assuming the RT's don’t have sport mode either. I had assumed there was no sport mode but sometimes asking a stupid question gets results.

    Yes. The screens are pushed back against the factory grill. The side tension of the screen holds it in place.

    Yea I am not impressed with BRP's choice of batteries. I just replaced the battery in our '23 RTL. Battery tender has been on since new. It wouldn’t turn green and going on a trip, I replaced it. Cheap OEM battery!

    Any reason NOT to buy a 2012 RT Limited?

    Another consideration is that some dealers (mine in particular) does not take any trades on a 2014 or older Spyder. I had a 2012 Spyder I was hoping to trade on a new Spyder. I ended up selling it outright.
