• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    1330cc Can I change the Transmission Filter without dumping the oil?

    If its anything like my 2014...I was in the same spot...needed to change the trans filter but not do the almost $80 oil change...thought I would just pop it off, clean up maybe a dribble of oil...put the new one on and poof...well..........that dribble turned out to be a huge pool on the garage...

    Thanks Joel. Well I'll be danged!!! Started it up; put it in reverse, foot on brake, parking brake off; slowly revved; it felt like it wanted to take off, so I put it in neutral and twisted the throttle, and it spooled way up!!! Kawabunga! Things are looking up! Thanks Tom

    I didnt remove the oil filter...the PO changed the oil/filter about 800 mi back so I just changed the oil (after most of the original oil ended up on the garage floor during the HCM filter replacement). I may have bumped the actuator so I'll have a close look whilst I have the tupperware...

    Thanks Peter...the engine will not rev...regarding the HCM...I just replaced the filter...I think that goes on just one way... It doesnt seem to be giving any failure/code info.... If the throttle was cable driven I'd swear the cable broke...thats what it feels like. Started new thread on this...
