• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need to modify driver's seat on 2023 RTL - anyone made theirs comfortable?

I have been through a number of Can Am seats and finally arrived at what I consider the solution. I had a 2019 RTL and wanted a more comfortable seat so I acquired an Ultimate seat. I thought it was great. Traded my 2019 for a 2022 Sea to Sky which comes standard with a Can Am Comfort seat. I...

What Communication devices do you use between rider/pillion & other riders in your group?

What do most of you use for communication with co rider and or other bikes in your riding group? Sena, Cardo, or CB? I have been using a CB since the beginning of time but am finally running out of material to set it up. I currently ride a Can Am Sea to Sky and have installed a J&M CB on it...

Curious for comments on Twisted Sisters ride in Texas?

Just curious for comments on the Twisted Sisters roads in Texas. My favorite destination has always been Arkansas, but we have ridden that area so often that it is becoming boring and looking for new adventure. The Twisted Sisters in Texas is twice as far to ride just to begin the ride, so I'm...

Trying to decide between this 2019 RT Ltd or a 2024 year/model - advice?

Speaking from experience, spend the extra dollars to get a 2020 or newer RTL or Sea to Sky. Nothing wrong with the 2019 and older bikes so long as they have the bells and whistles that you want BUT the 2020 and newer RT is an entirely different animal as far as comfort and handling is concerned...

Anyone tell me where to connect to fused power on 2020+ S2S?

I have a 2022 Sea to Sky, and I need to find a fused connection in the fuse boxes in back side of the front wall of the Frunk. Looking for something I can piggyback on to for a relatively light electrical load which I would prefer to be switched. Can anyone tell me where to connect?

    Downshifting vs Braking

My attention was drawn to this thread because of recent discussions with my two wheeled riding friends. Until two years ago, I had ridden two wheels for 50+ years and had developed a habit of controlling speed with the use of the transmission so I continued that practice when I moved to a Spyder...

Think of changing from Freewheeler - is the Spyder any easier &/or safer?

I too switched from two wheels after 50+ years after balance went away following two weeks in the hospital with Covid. I ride with the buddy that has a Harley Trike and it just wears him out and he's constantly complaining about what a rough tiring ride he has. My 2022 Sea to Sky is no comparison.

What's New search doesn't display correctly?

For the last several weeks the What's New Forum doesn't display correctly. Is that just something to be repaired by forum or do I have something incorrectly set on my computer?

F3 Ltd - what kind of luggage bags do you use? Or a rack & extra bag?

I bought a Sea to Sky thinking I was getting a custom set of semi hard shell bags with the deal. When the company eliminated the bags as part of the S2S deal I bought a set of four Hopnel bags and glad I did. I think there is less wasted space in the softer more flexible bags and the price is...

Trading Ryker in for F3 Spyder - Which model, year, and accessories do you recommend?

I also noted that at the beginning of this exchange everyone was talking about the various different models of the F3 but nothing abut the RT. I would suggest that so long as you are in the model range that provided the 1330 triple as the standard engine then the first hurdle is passed although...

What Kind of Rider are you?

Very difficult for me to respond. Basically, I will ride in just about any weather other than Icy roads. Two years ago left for a fall ride to hills of Arkansas and it was 27degrees when we departed. Warmed up and we had a great ride and rest of ride was more temperate. Will not ride in large...

Anyone installed the Afterburner tail-light mod?

Just curious if anyone here had installed the AfterBurner tail light modification available through Sling Mods for the 2020 and newer RT? I have a 2022 Sea to Sky and think is lacks a lot in tail, stop and turn signal lights at the rear. I installed the light strips available through LaMonster...

How about heated gear - what's your favorite? Any other suggestions?

I also have the same set up as flamewinger, but I have quit using my Gerbing gloves in trade for a set that is battery powered just so I do not have to mess with the gloves being tethered to my jacket. Very comfortable down to 20 degrees. Funny story though. Several years ago I got caught in a...

New 'Honda e clutch system' looks like the Spyder SE System...

I just saw the release on the "new Honda e clutch system". It is too early to tell for sure, but it looks, in all respects, like it is the mirror image of the Spyder paddle shifter and automatic clutch. Just saying, it is interesting to see other makers imitating the current system we have...

Any video's on 2020 RTL Front Seat Shock Install?

I didn't video the installation but it is no big deal. Just remove the back seat, open the front seat, release the bottom of the existing shock with a long slender straight bladed screwdriver, remove the screw holding the top of the shock and remove the oem shock. Reverse the process and you are...

Buying S2S - What luggage to maximize storage? Add a trunk top mount?

I agree with ARtraveler on the Hopnell luggage. Not as classy as the BRP luggage but much more usable. They are very flexible and conform to the contents and the hard case they are being used in and they are very reasonably priced.

I second the request for detail on your various rides. Would make interesting reading I am sure.

    48000 miles so far

Wow, that's impressive. I thought I was doing pretty good at riding my 2022 S2S with a little over 4,500 miles but you put me to shame. Either you have taken several really long rides or you ride it every day. All I know is that I'm sure glad I bought the Spyder and gave up my two wheel ways...

New to me - which Spyder?

Your price point may be a tad too low. I would second the comments of other posters suggesting that you stay in years that have the 1330 engine. After that then the question is do you want an RT or an F3. I rode a bike similar to your BMW (R1200RT) in that it had a seating position with your...
