• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

May be old news to some, but the 2024/25 starting procedure doesn't need you to wait for the display safety stuff...

You can do the same on the older models. As soon as you turn the key press the mode button and then the starter. No reason to wait.

What do you do for Gas Splash on plastics?? New bike - damaged paint!

The paint shouldn't be new since according to his profile it is a 2021. I would wonder what had been done to it before he bought it.

I can sympathize with those waiting for parts on Back Order - my left hand Switch housing is finally shipping...

that's weird. I just had mine replaced. The part was ordered and delivery in a few days. I see your Spyder is a different model, which probably takes a different part number.

Has anyone had their parking brake motor replaced? Finally resolved?

They replaced the left handlebar switch, the parking brake motor, a new connector, and a new battery. This was all done after the recall, which was the main thing I took it in for.

Has anyone had their parking brake motor replaced? Finally resolved?

Just got home from picking up the Spyder. All seems well, but I didn't realize how out of riding shape I am. It was hot (90+) when I left Phoenix, but in the high 70's when I got home in Chino. It is only a little over a 90 minute ride, but half of it is freeway with a lot of stupid drivers...

Has anyone had their parking brake motor replaced? Finally resolved?

If you have seen several of my posts recently you know I have not had a good few months with the Spyder. I initially took it in to have the shaft recall done. RideNow in Peoria got it in and completed in a day. I also had them look at an issue with my parking brake. This is where the SAGA...

Has anyone had their parking brake motor replaced? Finally resolved?

Mine had an intermittent issue that turned out to be a bad armature. They replaced it, but I am trying to find out what is the normal price for this; parts & labor.

Is Running Diesel Oil in Your Spyder such a good idea?

I have used Rotella T6 for almost a million miles in my motorcycles (Harleys and CanAm). Never an engine, transmission, or clutch issue, so I have no reason to change now.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I think ours must be two old. The controller doesn't look anything like the one in the manual you sent. I guess I will just have to send it back. Thanks for trying.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

I think that all was done well, but I haven't got it back yet. I needed a little extra work done and I didn't explain it properly, so they had to redo some work. Since it wasn't ready when they said it would be, they agreed to deliver it to me in Chino Valley. Well, I can't say they have the...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Well, they called and said it was done. I drove down to Phoenix (100+ miles) to pick it up. Got on and started testing every function on the switch, and the brake release still failed. So I had to leave it. They found a bad connector on the brake motor and fixed it. They discounted my bill 50%...
