• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for riders in Grants Pass, OR area

I am seeking other Can-Am riders in the Grants Pass, OR area interested in year-round casual (20 - 50 mile) rides with, perhaps, some longer road trips or group outings thrown in. I ride a 2019 Ryker Rally. Please drop me a line if you have similar interests. Thanks, Bob Swarts

I should have paid someone! Park Lock on Ryker...

Sand the edges of the hole (as others have suggested) and put some black trim around it -- maybe a rubber grommet? Or a hole plug with the center cut out to the same size as the lock mechanism? BS

CVT side air filter vs. engine side air filter

Great post, Rick. This test seems to offer more realistic results than the one I posted. Unless you are seeking out-and-out best performance though, it looks like the paper filters do a better job protecting the engine. They also have an economic advantage if you figure you are never going to...

CVT side air filter vs. engine side air filter

Since much of this thread seems to concern K&N filters, I suggest you read this report...

Turn signals not showing on the dash??

I don't know specifically what is wrong, but, yes, your turn signal indicators should show up on your dash as a blinking green light. Since the problem occurred after you washed your machine, it's natural to think water got into something. It is also possible that you broke a connection...

    Ryker Seat Survey

I have a 2019 Rally with the BRP comfort seat. It performs very well, and I feel no need for additional padding or a change of seats. I also have the BRP passenger comfort seat. It, too, is quite good and actually provides a low backrest funtion for the driver's seat. I does require you to lift...

    Broken hood retainer clip

Good idea, sKiZo, but you gotta have the broken pieces -- I didn't. I have a plastic welder too, but I didn't want to use it for fear of getting the hood itself too hot and deforming it. BS

Need to take off BRP comfort seat...

Reach under the opening between the driver and passenger seat. You will feel the platic clamp that holds the seat down (it is the bottom of the seat button you push to install the seat). Pull the tab towards the front to release the button; it will pop up thru the top of the seat. Now just push...

    Sway bar end links

Thank you all for your useful comments and suggestions. I shall certainly look into changing the front shock settings and measuring the toe-in. Ron told me when I spoke with him by phone that he did not know how much improvement a "links only" installation would cause, so I was not expecting...

    Sway bar end links

I received my new sway bar links from Bajaron last week, and quickly installed them on my 2019 Ryker Rally. The links are well made and very nicely finished. The balls rotate more freely than in the plastic factory links, but they are not at all sloppy. I found that one should attach the lower...

    Shift handle for Rykers

I did the same thing Rydernow did; rotated the stock shifter arm rearward. Remove the socket-head screw holding the arm to the trike. You must back the screw all the way out because it fits in a grove in the serated shaft from the gearbox. Gently prise the shifter arm off the machine. This may...

    Ryker key holder

I have an stl file for a Ryker key holder. Any of you that want a copy, please PM me. Apparently we can't upload anything but pictures to this forum? The holder is a 17mm ball on a 10mm stalk, similar to the one below being sold for $5 plus $10 shipping. If you have a 3D printer, you can have...

    Broken hood retainer clip

Tslepebull, the knobs are the screws that hold the red trim piece to the top of the hood. There are five (I think) of them. The red you see in my picture is that trim piece showing thru a hole in the hood. For those who are interested in the final solution to the broken hood piece, this is what...

    Broken hood retainer clip

Thanks, Mike. I thought about 3D printing a piece, and then bonding it in place, but a nicely shaped piece of aluminum would work much better -- and I have some in my junk box! BS

    Where are you in Oregon???

Hi, I live in Grants Pass, and I ride a 2019 Ryker Rally, red on black. I am 78 years old. I rode primarily dirt bikes up until the 70s when a broken collar bone, dislocated finger and more cuts, burns and contusions than I care to recall prompted my lovely wife to declare "The bikes go or I...

    Broken hood retainer clip

As far as I know all Ryker hoods use these flimsy plastic clips to hold the aft end down. But here is a picture of the broken one and the good one. I hope these pictures turn out OK. I have never posted images here before, and I can't find any tutorials on doing so. Thanks, BS Broken Good

    Broken hood retainer clip

The upper right retaining bit of plastic on the hood of my 2019 Ryker Rally is broken off. Anyone know of a sturdy and attractive fix? I do not have the piece that broke off. Thanks, Bob Swarts

Hey Ya'll We Got A New Member! Lets welcome ravensrest to SL

Newbie here -- Hello all I have just become the owner of a slightly used (670 miles) 2019 Ryker Rally, red on black. I plan to use it primarily as a cruiser, and probably won't have a great need for the rally mode, but I am going to try out ALL modes. I also have a question: the upper right...
