• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 battery change - do the 2 tabs go into any slots??

I replaced the battery on my 2013 RTL. There is a bracket that goes over the top of the battery. It has a hook where you attach the rubber bungee, that also attaches near the bottom. The bracket has two tabs on top that look like they would slip into a slot. When I took the old battery out, that...

RT-L Liner weather strip torn away from liner - any fixes?

Just bought a 2013 RT-L. Great deal in excellent condition, low miles. In the frunk there is a liner that has the BRP logo on it. I cannot tell if this was a factory item or added afterward. Anyway, around the top edge is a U-Channel with a round rubber tube that was glued to it. Just about all...

    Why change the sway bar?

I bought a used 2013 STS last year. It did handle strangely in corners. Put the Baja Ron sway bar on and it made a world of difference. Handles much better in corners. Well worth the expense for me. Luckily I had an area service guy from the dealer who did private work on the side on his days...

    So what is the trick?

Got that. I made it down to the point where the bottom panel could be swung down, but not enough to even get room enough to get a tool under there to loosen the engine drain plug. Looks like removing the oil filter would even be easier if that bottom panel was not in the way. I have large hands...

    So what is the trick?

I think you are the winner. I saw those two push pins but I was not sure about trying to remove them. Those pins are the ones I saw where the panel could move slightly forward and back. The owners manual does state to remove that panel. The photo shows taking the drain plugs out with the...

    So what is the trick?

Last weekend I was looking over my new to me, 2013 STS SE5 to see how involved doing my own fluid changes would be. I usually do them on my cars and Harleys before this. Side panel removal, no problem. Drain for the oil tank and transmission filter, easy. What is the trick for taking off the...
