• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

87 Octane seems to work just fine

Yes, when I travel, I do carry a couple of bottles of octane booster. Like you say, sometimes you do not have a choice of fuel grade.

87 Octane seems to work just fine

Good memory sir, yes, I did do the ECU modification. I’ll continue to run 91+ fuel avoiding ethanol . I asked the question being curious of what others do. Like others say, you wanna play, you gotta pay. Cheers!

87 Octane seems to work just fine

With the current price of fuel, Premium being north of $5/gal, how many of you have gotten away with 87 octane fuel with no issues? I start thinking of doing a trip somewhere and my thoughts drift toward a 2nd mortgage to afford hotel and fuel… not to mention food.

2023 F3L SES Front Sprocket BUSTED! Has anyone else with a "newer" Spyder had a sprocket issue?

I’m thinking the last tech that installed the failed pulley did not use the specified Loctite on the splines of the output shaft.

Are these Dealer charges normal? Fair?

Never paid any shipping or dealer fees for mine a few years ago. America has become GREEDY. Capitalism at its best. New car dealers are doing the same thing, pure BS. But as long as people pay it, it will exist.

Have you had any issues with your 2024 Spyder's Brake fluid?

Did he check the fluid with a brake fluid tester, which tests for the amount of water absorbed by the brake fluid? Dot 3&4 brake fluids are Hydroscopic, meaning they absorb water. I’m thinking the proximity of the brake fluid reservoir to engine heat causes the fluid to expand and contract when...

After 3 years of planning, I am riding Route 66 starting June 8

Reflecting back, the round trip from Madison Wi took 3+ weeks. Most fun was dodging tornadoes in Oklahoma. I was not in a hurry… took a layover day to avoid storms, and hit snow in Northern AZ. Enjoy, life is short.

Can Am Spyders Resale value isn't great...

I have been monitoring the resale value of Spyders and Motorcycles in general on FB Market Place and Craigslist... I don’t think I’m gonna see too much of a “Rate of Return “ if I decide to sell it. But, after saying that, the fun factor has been worth it.

Has anyone heard any rumors about a new 1600 engine for 2027 Spyders?

If they do release something like this, how long would the REAR TIRE last?

Kenda tires - I truly don't understand the hateful responses to Kenda tires. I have over 22,000 km on mine and they're only 50% worn.

10-26-2025 I Replaced the front tires on my 2019 F3L from Vredesteins to the Kanines. After a 20 mile ride, I’m happy with the Kanines, in fact I found them to be quieter on the concrete than the Vredesteins. Dunno why the negative press, but I’ve no regrets. Of course, just my opinion. Cheers!
