• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Knocking in the rear wheel of a Spyder ST Ltd 998 - Any ideas?

Yes, I would rather replace the bearings. It's only about $25. I just don't know if it's possible at home. If any of you have done it, it would be nice to get some practical advice back and forth...

Knocking in the rear wheel of a Spyder ST Ltd 998 - Any ideas?

When the Spyder is lifted and I turn the wheel back and forth there is play in the wheel. I don't know if I'm describing this correctly but it seems like the cause may be the wheel bearing. (?)

Knocking in the rear wheel of a Spyder ST Ltd 998 - Any ideas?

I replaced the rear tire, tightened the drive belt and I have a problem. When I push the Spyder forward, I can hear a steady, gentle knocking in the rear wheel. It sounds like the belt is too tight. But I loosened it and there is no change and the belt cannot be loosened any more. When I reverse...

Is 15.4v while the engine is running good for Battery charging?

I checked the battery because after a few days of inactivity it would not start. Now I think that it may be the fault of a certain peripheral device. Thank you all for your interest, I will check again according to your instructions. Regards from Lower Silesia.

How to check Throttle position sensor? Will a new TPS work without calibration?

Yes, it's a Spyder ST. Thanks, I'll check today. What code will be likely in case of a damaged TSP? Is it possible to easily erase/delete error codes that appear on the LCD?

How to check Throttle position sensor? Will a new TPS work without calibration?

My Spyder does not respond to throttle movements. I bet on the throttle position sensor, catalog number 420274095. I intend to replace it because it may have gotten damp. Two questions: How can I check if the sensor is working; and, if I replace it with a new one, will it work without calibration?

Anyone know the std length of a Drive Belt of an ST?

You're probably right - respect for your experience and knowledge - but I wonder why it stretched so much, bends more than 90 degrees... There is no tensioner, but maybe an accessory tensioner would be better.

Anyone know the std length of a Drive Belt of an ST?

Peter - The first method is easy, so I'll try that. However, the belt may have stretched and tightening it won't help much, as it's weakened and may break...
