• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Why not just use a SAE BT connector direct from the battery up thru the frunk? No drilling/screwing necessary and the frunk lid would shut just fine if need be,,,

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

When I removed my OEM shock, I disconnected the ALS arm and purged out the air bag thru the schrader valve. I did check psi prior to purging, and it was at approx. 50 psi. After the shock install, I reconnected the ALS arm and pumped in approx. 30# to prime the system. I did start it up/put in...

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on Can Am 2023 RTL - can it be fixed?

Hmmmm... My buddies (and my past 2009 Electra glide) have 6 gallon tanks, and all get much better mpg's than my 2022 RT S2S, especially when traveling on 80 mph interstate highways.

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

I just heard back from EPM Performance regarding the spring rate comparison between the OEM shock spring and my Wilbers. My Wilbers was built with a spring weight of 105-165 N/mm-mm. I'm thinking this would be for a progressive wound spring, although it looks straight wound. From Wilbers, the...

Worn heated grip covers - any idea of where I can purchase new covers?

I used a set of those. In warm weather, they really make your hands sweat when not wearing gloves.

Worn heated grip covers - any idea of where I can purchase new covers?

Check out some Grip Buddies Lites. I have them on my 2022 RT S2S and they're great. Much better than the leather tpye foam covers I had prior. heat comes thru without issues on the Lites. https://www.originalgripbuddies.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=101_111

After input on Handlebar risers... Anyone?

The biggest advantage of Helibars is the ability to adjust wrist angle. This is key for shoulder comfort. Another helpful tip that I and others did, is to elongate the pin hole in the handlebars to allow a bit more forward movement of the bars. That said, with stock bars, you cannot adjust the...

First ride after adding seat gel hoping for more comfort, but nope, no change! What do do? Anybody made theirs better?

Pricey, but well worth the cost. Russell Day Long seat on my 2022 RT S2S.

Why is there a removable Rear fender tip on the Canyons?

I believe the bottom 2" of the mudflap is designed to be cut off when installing a trailer.

Any time limit on changing HCM filter during oil change? Is a 10 y/o filter good for a few more years?

With removing all the right side body panels being a PIA, I should have replaced it at 4400 miles when I replaced my rear shock :( :)

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Went on my 1st decent ride of the spring season, putting on about 120 miles. I learned two things. 1.) My Russell Day Long seat is awesome! and 2.) The Spyder rear suspension is much more planted and compliant with the Wilbers 640 shock installed. Well worth the expenditure.

Installed my Kuryakyn heavy Industries mirrors/Mirror extenders to get a better rearward view

With just the Helibars installed, I found the OEM mirror placement to be perfectly fine. It was only after I added the 2" riser block, and rotated the bars fully forward with elongated holes, that the controls on the bars were right smack dab in the line of sight of the mirrors. Rotate the bars...

Where is the fuse location for heated seats and grips 2023 RTL?

Fuse blocks are located behind the frunk curtain, above the battery. You'll have to refer to your manual for exact location in the blocks. You likely know this, but, the heated grips and seat will only work with the bike running (and seat while only sitting on it).
