• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The reasoning for disconnecting the negative terminal first is to prevent a dead short if you were to bump your wrench into a ground when disconnecting the positive terminal first.

    I would say that Doug has hit this one right out of the park. My thoughts are if you know your battery is low and you hear this I might not be too concerned, but if you are still hearing it after an hour of riding it may be time to look into a replacement.

    I agree, but, you can have perfect battery and if it's not receiving a charge it ain't gonna be perfect for long. The charging problem needs to be addressed first, in this case, in my opinion.

    Sounds like the battery is fine as it will crank the engine multiple times. It's simply not charging.
