• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Not sure about a blowout, feel it would be an interesting ride, but on a quick but steady deflation it's solid down to somewhere under 9 PSI and then it starts to squirm.

    The Tee type valve stems would be an excellent addition. I would put the sensor on the top of the Tee so it would be easier to add air thru the side. I have never had a problem with the rubber valve stems, but you get the alert every time you unscrew it.

    I know. I was just clarifying your clarification. :) At one time we would have approximately 34,000 tires on the road on any given day, lots of them were Bandag's.

    A retreads life expectancy can be based on the original carcus used and the care in grinding and prep that goes into it before it goes into the chamber. It's about a 50 /50 mix of new and retread alligators you see on the road, or hopefully on the side.

    Bfromla may be close to accurate. At the 2023 BajaRon event Daniel noticed a slight exhaust leak in mine that would periodically give off a chirp/squeal sound til it warmed up.

    That's the shaft. The reason it did it with the LiPo is it will accept a higher charge rate than the AGM so it loaded the alternator more.

    For the longest time you could still get a manual transmission with a proper clutch. When BRP dropped it from the lineup lots of folks were upset. BRP may have had someone looking into the future that said we need to leave something for the rider to do or it won't fly.
