• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need advice - is it worth going to 2 wheels first, or is 3 OK?

Hello everyone. As a long time rider of Spyders, I still have the need to prove to myself that a can and could ride a motorcycle. I am a 62 yr old male, with no health concerns, and am thinking about buying a motorcycle and learning to ride. I have to admit, I am a little nervous about 2...

Anyone been in contact with Spyderpops lately?

ARtraveler ...Well, that is very interesting. I just called now, 0852 hr PST (1052 Central time). All I get is the answering machine with hrs of operation and option to leave a message, which I did on previous call. This is frustrating. I have emailed, responded to your PM, and tried to...

Anyone been in contact with Spyderpops lately?

Appreciate the response, Both times I called, was between 1230 and 130 pm PST. I believe that you are on Arkansas time two hours ahead, so you should have been open. I did leave a message the 2nd time with the order number. I just wish there was a way to track the parcel, because once it...

Anyone been in contact with Spyderpops lately?

Just curious, has anyone been in contact with Spyderpops in the last month. I ordered a Cyclops LED Light at beginning of April, and still have not received it. ( I live in Canada). I am not knocking the company, but was wondering if they are closed due to the Coravid 19 issues, as I have...

    Fuel Gauge Question

Peter, thank you so much for long and detailed reply. You saved me from a weekend of wasting my time trying to diagnose the fuel gauge issue. I hate it when things are not working properly, but I guess I will learn to live with it. Motorcyclists have been riding without fuel gauges for...

    Fuel Gauge Question

Just curious, did anyone ever get this issue with incorrect reading of digital fuel gauge sorted out. My 2013 RT fuel gauge has been driving me nuts. Despite filling it to the very brim, the gauge only displays 4 bars. Today, I went for a long ride and the fuel light came on at only 120 kms...

    Installation of car tire.

Thanks to everyone for the quick and awesome replies. Glad we are all in agreement. And yes, baring any major mechanical issues beyond my abilities, I will not be dealing with Banner Recreation in Kelowna. I have changed the rear tire on my 2008 GS, but the procedure seemed a little more...

    Installation of car tire.

Ok people. Today I called our local Spyder Dealer in Kelowna, BC and asked about installation of a car tire on RT. I advised the service dept member that I had the EXACT size rear tire, except it was a Toyo car tire. I asked if they could install it, as I have heard that some dealers would...

    Baja Ron Sway Bar

Thank you so very much for answering so quickly. I barely slept last night, concerned about my mistake. Sometimes my OCD gets in the way of my attempts to do things, and I often worry needlessly. Again, than you to everyone, this Forum is a fantastic community for Spyder owners. Regards Ray

    Baja Ron Sway Bar

Quick question. I was so pleased to have managed to install my new Baja Ron sway bar today, but now am worried that I might have to go back and change the orientation of the heim link bolts. After reviewing a couple of videos and the instructions again, I realized that I put the bolts in...

    Rear Tire Removal

Ok, I know this topic has probably been flogged to death, but I am pretty stressed about removing the rear wheel in order to change tire on my 2013 RT. I have previously removed the wheel on a 2008 GS, but the amount of tupperware and goodies on the RT is making this seem like a much more...

Tire removal with rear mud flap

Thank guys. Yes, the Show Chrome mudflap is held on with nut and bolts, as well as some 3m tape. Therefore, I don't really want to have to remove it if possible. Hopefully, I can just jack up the RT high enough. I have changed rear tire on an old GS, but that didn't have all the plastic that...

Tire removal with rear mud flap

I just ordered the Show Chrome rear mudflap and was hoping to mount it later this weekend. I also plan on replacing rear tire in the Spring, but am now worried the mudflap may make removal of tire difficult. Does anyone know if this is true?

Spyder RT 2013 Owners - did the Recalls fix the issues?

I purchased a 2013 with 7700 kms on it. All recalls had been done, including the addition of air scoops to deal with heat issues. I have put on over 3500 kms since then, including riding it in very hot temperatures in the Okanagan of BC. No concerns or problems....touch wood. I hear all...

Seeking advice for entering the 3 wheel world

Not going to be easy to find a 1330 in the same budget range as the 998. Not everyone has unlimited funds. I know I do not. I have a 2008 and it does everything need. Also, totally depends on how much riding a person intends on doing. I would love a newer bike, but there are other...
