• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Are these Tires too old?

Anything kenda would NEVER be a choice I would make!

Antenna Snapped, need a replacement - recommendations? And Shuddering at low RPM - any ideas?

As I recall, when I took mine off, I used a long socket, I don't remember the size, maybe 10mm, slipped it down the antenna, and used vice grips to loosen it!

Left headlight stopped working, but the Right headlight is still working - any suggestions on what to look at/try?

No, not with as much time and aggravation as it takes to replace, at least in an RTS.

Left headlight stopped working, but the Right headlight is still working - any suggestions on what to look at/try?

My 2014 RTS had a headlight bulb go out at 22,000. I bought 2 AFTER I got them out, went to O'Reilly and got the correct bulbs, one of my dealers sold me the wrong bulbs!

New Coolant will not circulate after refill, completing successful flush and change - anyone else? Any ideas on what might be causing it?

Not trying to throw shade here... However, wanting to know why flushing the coolant system is needed? I would imagine that most never are.

Any recommendations/suggestions on Cordless power ratchet options for Spyder work?

You are exactly correct sir! When we got married a couple of years ago, I noticed that we had a bit of everything, Crapsman, Black and Decker, and about 3 or four more. Nothing is as good as the Milwaukee! NOTHING! Sure, they are a bit pricey, but worth it!

Read the first thread down below under the Similar Threads heading - FAQ's about BajaRon Sway Bar Kits. You will learn a lot. Enjoy your ryde!

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

I hate them for the way they treat truck drivers! I have noted that above!

Any Way to disable VSS/Traction control or severely dumb it down?

Badmotorf1nger. No disrespect meant at all here. You remind me of guys I know that want to tune a Detroit Series 60 to 700 and 800hp. We tell them not to, that the motor will probably blow. And normally, sooner than later, it always does! A lot of folks here have given you good advice! Please...

Dealer says Car tires damage fenders - does this make sense???

You are exactly correct sir! Missing Mike!

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

You could not have said that better sir! I'm pretty sure that it is belt driven, and unless they have put extremely good belt guards on it, off roading simply won't work well!

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

Like @Snoking1127 said, take a Spyder course if there is one near you. I was glad I did! I learned more than I would have imagined! Just a tidbit. They taught us that you cannot hit the brakes 'too' hard! We kept running it up to 30ish, they said stop, we hit the brakes. About the 4th time I...

Any thoughts on Ground clearance on the RTL?

Like Mikey said, it's all about the angle! I have 3 speed bumps leaving the house. I simply make sure that I hit them at roughly a 60 degree angle. One tire goes up on it, the next follows, no problem.

Has anyone used front wheel 'roll into' chocks on your trailer?

    @FROGMAN, I actually used Z-trac!

Another tire thread…but different¿ New Kenda XPS Roadster Tires - more durable...

I'll look at it tomorrow and let you know. I'm not looking for a softer ride. I want to know that when I go into a curve that it will stick! The General Altimax I had on the first Spyder, an RTL, gave me confidence that it would stick. The Kenda on the rear of the RTS didn't! The Vredestien I...

Canyon Sitting on the Showroom Floor!

After Shawn smoke made a video and saw car tires on a Spyder and said, "danger danger", I was done with anything he might say or have!

Has anyone used front wheel 'roll into' chocks on your trailer?

If you search my name, there is a thread with a picture of my setup with front chocks. In my trucking days I learned a long time ago that if the load doesn't get a chance to move, it won't!

Another tire thread…but different¿ New Kenda XPS Roadster Tires - more durable...

After all of the problems in the past with Kenda tires, I would NEVER have another one on my Spyder! Vredesteins are the only tires I will consider! In fact, I just had a Vredestein installed on the rear yesterday. (Sorry Ron, you are 175 miles from me, the dealer in Taylorsville is 15 miles...

Anyone have any good Headlight upgrade suggestions?

Allow me to share this; my Freightliner truck had horrible visibility at night! I was talked into buying a super duper headlight that guaranteed more light! It worked beautifully! For about 2 weeks! The problem was that the OEM bulbs were 55 watt, the new lights were 95 watts! In two weeks I...
