• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How much work is involved in replacing the brake switch?

The brake switch assembly on the RT should be different, but I'll try to find some info about that. I've checked the brake rod/arm and it seems to operate normally. When taking my foot off the pedal, I don't hear the switch click and the light stays on. This happens especially if I remove my...

How much work is involved in replacing the brake switch?

Hello. I've been having problems for a long time with a stuck brake switch (2018 F3) which is getting worse. Tried spraying some brake cleaner and lube with not much success. I've checked the maintenance manual and it seems there's some work involved. The right footrest support should come...

Is there a Canisterectomy for the 1330 engine?

Thanks guys... So I've ordered a new evap canister.

Is there a Canisterectomy for the 1330 engine?

Is this still a thing for the 1330 engine? I've seen a couple of posts and videos about disabling the evap canister on the twin 998 engine, but nothing really for the 1330. Around 30K miles and I'll be replacing the fuel filter so I might do the canister replacement or removal while I'm there...

Is this Belt Noise from Left side of engine normal? Goes away when warmed up?

Totally normal. Mine does it and I think all are doing it, still more noticeable on some then others. It has been described as marbles jumping around inside and I believe it may have to do with the engine having a dry sump.

Is this Belt Noise from Left side of engine normal? Goes away when warmed up?

Have that also and on my second pulley (a white one). I would suspect it's rather related to somekind of harmonic vibration of the belt. Maybe lowering the tension might help I've got mine set to the recommended 180lbs/ft.

    Finally got Spyderpop's Bumpskid installed!

Front of the Spyder was a little beat up mostly from going too fast over speed bumps. I finally got Spyderpop's bumskid from Martin's shop (I'm located in Europe). Instalation took a bit more of effort than as per instructions as I had to dismantle the grill, grill frame and some plastics...

    What's this Whistling sound? 2021 F3-S

180 measured with the krikit, might try to lower that a bit and see if it gets better.

    What's this Whistling sound? 2021 F3-S

Had the old sprocket, a bit noisy but no whistling. Had the Red Dust so I replaced it with the new white one. Now I have a noticeable "swissh" sound which seems to be much louder than before. Installed the belt tensioner but still have the same "swissh". So for me the black sprocket was...

Another one bytes the dust... Front Sprocket Failure - Red Dust!

Over 1500km/930mi later... Checked the sprocket a couple of times markings seem to be at right place. Might be me... Not sure what BRP did with this new sprocket but for me the previous sprocket seemed to run quieter... Had no whistle before and this new sprocket seems to swoosh more that the...

    Brake light switch mechanism sticking

Just noticed yesterday when I parked the F3 the brake light was on. Seems it's not the switch but rather the mechanism that is sticking sometimes. Anything I should lubricate to avoid this? Thanks.

Another one bytes the dust... Front Sprocket Failure - Red Dust!

OK ridden about 300km/186mi with the new sprocket and here are my thoughts. Seems to shift quieter... just a little bit. There's kind of a swoosh when coasting. Didn't noticed any shudder. I'll check the markings on the sprocket later to see if there's any movement but all seems right now :)

Another one bytes the dust... Front Sprocket Failure - Red Dust!

Cleaned, lubed and torqued to recommended 111lb/ft (I'll still mark the sprocket and bolt to check if there's any movement). Belt tension seems to not have changed and still at 180lb/ft Was actually an easy job... Just need to ride it now and see if all seems normal. Thanks everyone for...

Is there any special alignment with the shaft it should have? Can't see any markings on the shaft but the sprocket seems to have some markings.

So one month later it was finally delivered. Now I just need some time to put all back in place. Thanks for the help.
