• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why does it take so long?

After telling the service person that the bike can stay at my house until they could do it she wasn't receptive. The service manager called back and said that is the way it is, but he was very nice. I agree with what you said just thinking out loud. It is what it is. RJ

Why does it take so long?

Two weeks ago I left for work on my 2017 RT limited and eight miles from home I went into limp mode. Road home to get a car and checked for the code when I got home from work. I got a P0340 - error on camshaft position sensor signal. Called the dealer and they said it would be two weeks for them...

What is your definition of "warm enough to ride"?

I have riding as low as 9 but that is not fun. Last winter I had a morning at 18 and this year a couple of mornings at 22. Since I live in the Atlanta area I try to ride every day however age is either making me smarter or a wimp. I think for me I prefer to keep the temps in the 40s or...

    Rear fender damage RSS

I cannot see the depth of the scratch, but it appears to be into the base material. I would have a body shop look at it. If the prep work isn't done properly you will see it. The reason I say this is my older brother has been operating a body shop for over 50 years and I have seen a lot of...

    Positive comments about Spyders

Positive Comments I have been riding since 1970 and I ride pretty much every day. Current bike is a 2017 RTL that I bought with 60 miles on it last December. I purchased the bike after putting a bunch of miles on a gold wing. I absolutely love the Spyder. It may not ride like a traditional...

Accident July 7, 2018. Prayers needed

I am sorry to read about the accident. Prayers for a speedy recovery. As mentioned in the update there is no doubt that the hand of God protected her. A high school class mate of mine passed away last week when he hit a deer on his bike. Here is my post when I hit a deer at 50mph June 6th...

    Deer vs SPyder RT Limited

Going to work yesterday I hit a deer at 50 mph. This is my first Spyder, and have heard how this isn't a real motorcycle. Well I have owned all major brands, but none of them would have kept me off the ground like my Spyder. I ended up with some muscle strain on the right side of my back and...

Does it really take 300 miles?

Imy case I have been riding two wheels for forty-five years plus, so I found therewas more of a learning curve then I expected. The muscle memory with hand brakes, clutch and counter steering took mea couple hundred miles to really feel comfortable but it is great. My bike is my daily driver...

    GW vs Spyder

bikerbillone I went from an 05 GW to a 2017 RT limited (see my Pic). The RT doesn't ride like a GW but it shouldn't. I have been riding for 47 years and have had Kaw's, Suzuki's, Honda & HD. I didn't think I would ever give up the GW. I have no regrets getting the Spyder and am looking...
