• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Vander Hall

Regs are state dependent. I had to look it up, according to sling's website: https://slingshot.polaris.com/en-us/license-requirements/ Apparently, even Vanderhall uses the term roadster a lot, which makes sense to me. For WA: 3-wheel vehicle with a seating area, safety belts, and a steering...

    List your Top 5 accessories

I generally go with the rule of Safety > comfort > fun While mine isn't an RT, I will say this is what I find is the best bang Windshield (for F3 stock is awful) Baja Sway bar LED lights wrap my spyder decals (the extra sheen is not only cool looking but very visible) Comfortable seat - that...

Can-Am Rentals - What would you rent?

F3, mostly because that is what I'm used to, and will let me roll with the area sights in comfort of familiarity. However, if I was looking to just jet around and perhaps try something new, def the Ryker because I'm reallyyyyyy curious about it. From what I've heard they are super fun to ride...

Looking to purchase new 2018 F3 S this Saturday

That's a great price....and those school trainers are (generally) well looked over before releasing (dealer dependent). Love my F3. Enjoy!!!!

Take breaks, take sunscreen and apply it (even if only for the moisture to prevent wind burn), and drink water. Pack for layers. Other than that, enjoy!!!

2020 ryker rally pricing and crazy dealership experience.

Can-am has the 2020 "brochure" and such on their website, might be worth a look? https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/models-2020/ryker.html

    2020 rt

I happen to like the F3 trim look, a lot. I always felt that RT and F3 were side by side, just for different stylings. But that seems to have changed. :\ Guess it's a good thing I'm not looking to replace mine.

    new to can am

Like others have implicated. A good dealer and service department is worth going to. I have a dealer about 10 miles away, but I prefer the service department of the one that is about 70 miles away. It's worth it.

Apologies to others that have posted about poor wet handling

I've done two big rides with my ride, one last year and one this year....of course during both I rode in a storm. (can't avoid it sometimes!) Pavement conditions are a huge factor for sure. The WA/OR ride was fine in the rain, in fact, I was more dismayed over the water going up my seat...

    iPhone USB connect and charge?

Cords can make a huge difference. While on a ride last month, mine started acting up. Sometimes wouldn't charge/detect the phone, then suddenly sometimes would. Finally tossed it, got a new cord, problem solved.

    Genius Maps or Rever?

I prefer Waze/Google for local. but for the custom rides, I use inroute. http://carobapps.com/products/inroute/ Provides during time, curviness, weather, elevation, wind. Can use waypoints to guide the route a certain way and save. You can then export as needed. It's been my go to for...

Does Anyone Tow Their Spyder with a Subaru Outback?

I personally haven't towed mine, but as I own an Outback I was curious. I looked up the specs. F3-T dry weight is 950 lbs Towing capacity of a 2.5 Outback is 2700 lbs I guess, you could? depending on the trailer and all that you would put on it? Good luck!

After owning one, are you guys still hype with it, compared to before you owned it?

I've had mine for about 15 months, and have really really enjoyed it. I went from 2 up on my honey's Indian, and now I have my own ride. I love it. We've gone on several long weekend trips, and another 10 day trip planned next month. Looking forward to it. Oh and yesterday I had the...
