• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've got some serious electrical issues

Well the good news is I found the problem, bad news is you were right. The sons of bitches cut the wires behind the handlebars. A rather serious problem that I don't see how I can fix myself.

I've got some serious electrical issues

So, strangely I can turn on the hazard lights and flash the high beans, so there is power running through the machine somewhere. I still don't get anything if I turn the key. I've triple checked all the fuses under the hood and also under the seat. I'm going to plug it into a tender for the...

I've got some serious electrical issues

I don't get any dash lights or anythng when switched to "on". The battery was replaced about 4 months ago. Also one of the first things I tried was jumper cables to my car battery. No luck there. I I just don't get why I park it a month ago, it's not out in the weather, then all of a sudden...

I've got some serious electrical issues

Hey Everyone. I have a 2010 Spyder RS. It's parked in an underground lot and after sitting for about a month without riding today it seems to be dead. I've got 12V+ in the battery but nothing happens when I turn the key. I found a couple blown fuses (F1 main relay control, F7 tail light)...

Can a moving company handle a Spyder?

Hey everyone. I just wanted to come back and report on what I ended up doing unless other people come through and search the forum. So the move was from Wisconsin to Seattle. A U-haul trailer was about $700. Not bad but I wasn't thrilled about hauling a trailer that distance, plus it would...

Can a moving company handle a Spyder?

Thanks all for the info. To answer a couple questions, I'll be funding the move myself. There will be some strorage time involved as I have to mix in some work and cleanup/repairs and I'll be a couple weeks behind the moving truck. And it's a 1 bedroom apartment, so I assume the interstate haul...

Can a moving company handle a Spyder?

Hey everyone. So I'm moving from Wisconsin to Seattle. I'm going to hire a moving company to handle all my furniture and I asked about my Spyder and they (Mayflower and Allied) have said "oh sure no problem." But I'm pretty nervous about that. It'll go on/off a truck 6 times (local moving...

Symtec Grip Heaters with Kuryakyn ISO Grips?

Hey Everyone. I'm planning on Installing the ISO grips, and I figured while I'm at it I might as well add in the Symtec grip heaters along with a Heat Troller. I'm just wondering if anybody has this configuration? Does the heat transfer well though the ISO grips? Also, I'm a little nervous...

    12V install on RS?

Hey Everyone. I have an RS-S and I would like to install a 12v outlet. I was under the impression that there were some wires strapped up behind the panels that were meant for this install. Drill a hole in the frunk, slap in the 12v, plug it in. I dug around in there and could not find...

Brand new Spyder - Brakes Rubbing?

Ok thanks for the info, I feel better knowing it's normal. Mine is nowhere near as loud as the one in that video, wow! And yup, the GloRyders are cool! I'm hoping my local police department will also agree if they ever see me out

Brand new Spyder - Brakes Rubbing?

Hey Everyone! I'm brand new around here, just picked up an '11 RS-S last week. I've put 250 miles on it so far and it seems to me like the brake pads are rubbing. I can hear a slight grinding noise if I roll it back and forth with the engine off. And my garage spot is on a slight incline...
