• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    A Thing Called Karma

Mystery Solved; Thanks to all that responded with thoughts and suggestions. The mystery of the Wandering Kitchen Appliance was due to a lack of communication between an Ex Wife and family members. Too many Cooks in the Kitchen I suppose. I did reach out to the One Legged Sock People in the...

    A Thing Called Karma

Let me begin by saying, "this has nothing to do with our favorite three wheeled transportation." We live in what is called by some as "flyover country. We have good schools and hospitals, outstanding police and fire protection, and minimal crime. Here's the rub... It seems that our house is the...

Hot ride in between Frederick and Raleigh

Greetings from Wisconsin, where it gets hot and humid, but nothing like Virginia. My sister's family lived there a few years ago. While visiting, we made the trip up to Fredericksburg, as some of the Civil War battlefields are on my Bucket List. We made it to "the wall" and around the town and...

If you had 4 days to ride in Michigan, what Must See Rides are there/do you recommend?

The Ludington Car Ferry is an option taking you from Lower Michigan to Wisconsin. A few years ago my wife and I took a trip from Green Bay north across the Penninsula and across the Mackinac Bridge. Traveling south through Petoskey and Traverse City. Western Michigan was surprisingly sparse...

Smoke from the Canadian Wildfires reaching Wisconsin - anyone/anywhere else in the lower 48?

Here in Wisconsin, the smoke is in the air from the current fires to our NorthWest. Thousands of miles from the source, it's noticeable with an obvious scent outdoors and hazy skies above. Anyone else in the lower 48?

Off and on radiator leak and overheating - any suggestions?

Two summers ago I had a coolant problem like yours. It turned out to be a small crack in the Coolant Reservoir. In my case, the temp would only spike when I made "left hand turns"! Drove me nuts trying to track that down. It was impossible to see, only way to identify was with a pressure check...

How can I open the Turn Signal & Mirror Case without breaking something? Any thoughts?

Thanks guys, I've got a service appt. next week and I was just trying to get ahead of the curve. One item to share with others; after repeated oil changes requiring the magic mirrors to be removed (6 to 7 times) the connection/plug for the turn signal failed on mine. The wires separated from the...

How can I open the Turn Signal & Mirror Case without breaking something? Any thoughts?

I did a search and found little information so I'll post this question. My right front turn signal is out and I'm curious about how to open the case without breaking something? I know there's tabs, but I'm not sure where they're located. Any thoughts?

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

My Winter Storage is rather simple. Fresh Gas, Pull the Batt. Park in Neutral/No Parking Brake and roll the wheels onto old carpet scraps. I also add Moth Crystals under the full cover to keep the rodents from moving in. Sleeps all winter and ready to wake up in the Spring!

What are you paying for insurance? Who are you insured with?

Inflation is a factor. I've also been told that there are many factors that affect our premiums. i.e. Credit Scores, Location, Claim History etc. But yeah, inflation is squeezing every dollar out of us right now.

Be careful Riding When it's Too Hot! Hydrate & keep cool!!

As the temperature climbed Saturday to a record 128 degrees Fahrenheit in Death Valley National Park, a group of motorcyclists became distressed by the extreme heat, and one of them died, a park ranger said. The motorcyclists were touring the park near Badwater Basin, a stretch of salt flats...

    Where to go in Wisconsin?

Definitely include Door County. The peninsula has many places of interest. Restaurants, museums, plenty of back roads for exploring. While passing through Green Bay, take in the stadium tour at Lambeau Field. Lots to see and do in Northeastern Wisconsin.
