• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    backfiring increasing....pls help.

Even though i topped off the antifreeze and it ran better, i took the Y gaskets apart and found the right side one was only in tact half way. missing the other half of the gasket which would explain why it was so hot and i could smell exhaust I suppose. Replacing them today as the new ones...

Went and drove another 25 miles tonight trying to burn off that fuel. After 18 miles it started popping again. Looks like I have another behalf tank to go still.....hope it does not harm the engine.

    Nashua NH ryder here

Sounds good to me. Having an aftermarket exhaust it sounds a bit loud and definitely louder than those with the 1330ccs but I have been shifting where you are and driving around 3,500-4k. Being new though i just wanted to be sure that shifting at 4k is good enough but knowing you can go higher...

    Nashua NH ryder here

I have the 2010 RS manual. I was told i had to keep it over 4000 but to me that seems loud. I don't mind but want to make sure i don't go too low and 'lug' the engine or hurt the clutch. Just want to be sure I'm ok if i kept it around 3,500 or so when cruising. Shifting is when i keep it closer...

    Nashua NH ryder here

Just bought a used 2010 Spyder RS w/ 16K on it. Drove it roughly 700 miles so far and loving it. Getting used to the 990cc's wanting to rev so high but getting used to the 3 wheels and enjoying it so much. Does anyone else have a 990cc? If so, i hear they like to rev higher than the...

To SHIFT or NOT TO SHIFT

I have a 2010 RS with a Hindle exhaust and notice that running it at 4000 RPMs cruising, its a bit loud but rides so great. I'm sure that must be normal but wanted to ask.... i'm a new Spyder owner and loving it but want to make sure with the Hindle exhaust i should expect it to be a louder...
