• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where do you store your Cell phone??

I have a phone mount on the bars but keep my phone in my Hopnel tank bag 99% of the time. There is also a waterproof phone bag there for when the weather is wet. like others have said, when I ride I mostly want to be away from the phone. I'll likely remove the phone mount soon for other reasons...

Has anyone purchased a 2024 F3S? Do they still come with the rear cowl?

I got a black seat cowl on Amazon about five years ago for $250. They are still available, but now $400. I painted mine to match and found a set of passenger peg eliminator covers on ebay recently for $20. So, you can DIY a cowl but it looks like it will cost about $500.

Has Anyone else removed their F3T's windshield?

100% — I couldn’t agree more. Fortunately, my ’15 F3S came with none of the things I didn’t want: no windshield, floorboards, radio, speakers, touch screen, Bluetooth, or other distracting gizmos. I’ve spent over 60 years on just about every genre of motorcycle except big touring rigs and not...

Looking for a male connector to fit this? Need to charge GPS!

Actually no. The Garmin XT and every Garmin GPS I've had will automatically shut down within 10 seconds of shutting off the power. It takes a manual override to switch it to battery power.

Looking for a male connector to fit this? Need to charge GPS!

I can't speak for later models, but my 2015 F3S has a "cigarette lighter" style outlet under the passenger seat. This outlet is powered only while the engine is running. My Garmin XT came with a power cord with the lighter plug attached. It's a quick and easy fix to run the cord back and plug...

Passenger foot pegs won’t stay vertical - any suggestions to keep them up?

Remove the Passenger pegs, you'll never have them slip down again. Worked for me!

Need new Tires for 2015 F3-S - what's everyone running?

I expect to receive a lot of flame for this. I have a 2015 F3s with a Baja Ron stabilizer bar and Elka shocks. I just replaced the tires with Kenda KR20 Kanine's. They are designed for the Spyder. The previous Kenda's performed well and the Kanine's are even better in my experience. To each his...

How to lose 5 pounds in less than an hour - remove the Spyder footpegs!

I found them on ebay. I don't know if they are available from BRP now. Both places are worth searching. Look for this: OEM Can-Am Spyder Roadster F3 Foot Peg Footrest Trim Panels L & R Black. If you find them be sure to watch Lamonster's video on replacing footpegs. You'll need a small torch to...

How to lose 5 pounds in less than an hour - remove the Spyder footpegs!

I replaced the passenger pegs on my F3S with these BRP trim pieces and was surprised to find that the pegs weigh almost 2 1/2 pounds each.

Old School Rider - The only sounds I need are the wind and the bike!

Long time motorcyclist of many types. It's comforting to find I'm not alone on no music while riding. I do use a GPS though. It helps me avoid interstates and turnpikes.

Storage options - are there any Spyder Tank Bags?

I have the Hopnel bag. It is $22 on Amazon. That $100 price is crazy. It is a good size for small items and a small route sheet.

Questioning wearing Ear Plugs while riding

One of the many reasons I don't listen to music when I ride. Also, a vote for Earpeace ear plugs.

How to make gas cap easier to lock?

This is a reply to a several month old thread. However, I know a number of people continue to have problems with latching the fuel cap. I had that problem again today and I also learned that the fix is easy and quick. It turns out that the rubber sealing gasket rides on a spring loaded guide and...

Where's the best place for a K-tag on the Spyder?

This is likely no help at all if you are determined to ride on turnpikes, but the best place for the Oklahoma Pike pass is in the trash can. The OTA is a corrupt agency attempting to run a ponzi scheme to finance turnpikes that nobody wants. Google Pikeoff OTA for more information.

F3 S fog lights staying on regardless of switch - what's wrong with this picture?

I do some of my best thinking in the middle of the night. At three a.m. this morning this occurred to me: Can Am's accessory fog lights have halogen projector bulbs. I'm using LED lights on the provided wiring. Are the LEDs not pulling enough amps to trigger the relay? Maybe I will use the...

F3 S fog lights staying on regardless of switch - what's wrong with this picture?

Thanks all for the help. I apologize that this is a bit long. I do own a multimeter and have somewhat of a grasp of basic electrics, which might be my downfall here. I’m using a SPDT latching on/off switch with one normally open and one normally closed connector and a LED lighted power...
