• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Replacing windshield arm

So I went to Harbor Freight on Sat afternoon. Bought the Bearing splitter kit as the only single small one they had was in the kit. Spent $54.00 on it. This morning tried and the magnet popped right off. Hallelujah!! Put the bike back together and all is well. The only other problem I had...

Has anyone got the permanent fix for their sprocket?

When I called the dealer, shortly after I received the recall letter, they said they didn't have the part, but not to worry because if it failed, you just wouldn't be able to move as there would be no transmission from the engine to the wheel. WHAT!! So if I am on a trip, and the thing quits...

2022 RTL - where is your battery tender connector located/routed?

I have mine under the seat. I let it hang out when charging, then stick it back under the seat when unplugged. I also eliminated the lock on the seat, so I don't have to use the key to get to the gas.

Depending on the model satellite receiver, you can send it to the radio via FM signal. Just tune the radio into that freq. and Viola! I have my corvette set up this way. Works just fine. The Satellite receiver has to have a FM transmitter in it, or you can add an FM transmitter to any audio...

    Tank Bag?

I have one of the Hopnel's that strap onto the glove box door, and the top small one with the clear top has an attachment system that I turn to the left and it comes off and I have a large map pocket that goes on in it's place. Can't remember where I got it though. It's a glove box bag system.

How many here rode a motorcycle to high school?

Yes my senior year (1967) I rode a 305 Yamaha. It was a piece of junk that I had the piston replaced once and then it went again. Traded it in on a 1962 Corvette. Good decision.
