• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 F3T Limited for sale in a while - what is a fair price? Any ideas?

Due to medical reasons, I am thinking about selling my 2016 Spyder Limited. This bike has 7073 miles and is in great shape. This is what the bike looks like and the farkles that are included so, I am wondering what a fair price might look like? I should mention that the bike will not be...

Spyder will not leave Neutral for reverse or forward - any ideas?

First, thanks to you guys who made suggestions! So the brake is depressed and the last oil and filter change was about 200 miles ago. The horn and brake lights work fine. Although I do not know what a LHS is??? BTW, when the shifter buttons are pressed, there is no sound at all (of course the...

Spyder will not leave Neutral for reverse or forward - any ideas?

So, after a 6 month gap in usage, my 2016 F3T will not engage in either Reverse or Forward gears, just nothing. Is there a fuse perhaps at fault? Or, what to try? Thanks much! (Thanks to you guys, I did just install a NOCO battery and that thing rocks!!)

Any tips on connecting OEM & tender leads to NLP20 NOCO Battery Posts?

I just noticed that wires to the spring clips are removable and the hole will fit nicely to the battery!

Any tips on connecting OEM & tender leads to NLP20 NOCO Battery Posts?

So, I've just purchased the NOCO NLP20 battery, charger, and connection wires (pictured in the attached.) This follows the many positive comments on this board. I have no idea how to use the battery 'posts'. Note that the wire connectors are too large to be attached to the battery with the...

Where is the Schraeder valve? 2020 F3 Ltd

I was going to ask what a Schraeder valve was? But if it's the bladder under the seat, that's where you will easily find it.

Sudden onset rough running engine! Any Guesses why/what??

No codes. But, I was thinking gas too. A personal emergency kept me from riding for almost a year. Thanks, I'm gonna work on that first.

Sudden onset rough running engine! Any Guesses why/what??

This morning I headed out for a little ride. Everything was great for five or 10 minutes and then the engine started running very rough. I was only able to get the spider back home by keeping the RPMs high. Now this is not a lot of information but, what would you GUESS? It is a real bear to...

Need to Release the Parking Brake ...manually - Anyone help?

Well, I got down on my side to look at the area I need to work...Wow! There's about 7" to go under the muffler. Either that comes off, or I need a jack. So, the spring comes off easy enough. Then I'm staring at the bolt that apparently holds the bracket connecting the cable to the 'swing arm'...

Need to Release the Parking Brake ...manually - Anyone help?

I have a 2016 F3L with a significant electrical problem. I have an appointment with a dealer in a couple of weeks. I understand that there is (?) a way to manually release the parking brake?? That would be a good thing as I have zero electrical power...and, it is not the battery. Would you...

Any idea on how to proceed with this Electrical Problem?

Well, I was really hoping it was the battery (2 years old, continuously on a trickle) So, I jumped the Spyder from a running car. All the lights were certainly up full brightness but the starter would not turn. The clicking from the solenoid/relay went away but zero action on the starter, even...

Any idea on how to proceed with this Electrical Problem?

I have a 2016 F3L with a good battery. This morning I attempted to start my machine and after the dash lit up for about 1 second. Then everything went dark. Maybe 20 seconds later, the fender lights blinked on and off with some sort of pattern. I grabbed the manual and a light to inspect the...

Superb customer service from F4 !

I bought a windshield from F4 almost 5 years ago. Perhaps 5 months ago the salt air here in Florida (probably) caused some of the powder coating to peel off with an ensuing rust issue. I called F4 and they sent the two replacement brackets NO CHARGE (and no trans either). Impressive (way)...

    Transmission shift noise (excessive)

Thanks for the answers...they confirm what I thought. But, since so many things 'I thought' aren't turning out to be true these days, I thought I'd ask. Sorry about the duplicate post above...

    Transmission shift noise (excessive)

OK, I should know this, but... Apparently, there is no separate transmission oil? So, I notice that the noise of my shifts, especially the first ones of a ride, are excessively noisy. The first one into reverse is an 'attention-getter'! After that, less but still noisy. Thanks for your...
