• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    wheelchair carrier

Great job with the wheel chair mounting. Its really nice to see someone get his chair to ride alone with him. I have a 2017 RTL so its a much bigger challenge to figure mine out. Right now I have to back up in my garage and park on the right side to mount. Hit the garage door opener and I am...

I was asked to show a picture of my latest spyder

Yes sir it is. Yes it is, my roommate and I are avid classic car guys. That's a 46 still in the works. We have a 55 just to the right not in the picture and the best we have in the garage next to both spiders is a 51 Chevy styleline complete. The 51 we drive to shows or trailer it here in...

I was asked to show a picture of my latest spyder

Afternoon fellow spider riders, I was asked to show a couple of picks of my spiders. I have only done the brake and running boards to get me back to riding again, being disabled it was necessary. The RS has seal running boards and the brake kit from ISCI. My newest ride is the RT Limited with...

    SE6 engine hesitation while upshifting

Low RPM most likely..my 2012 RS will do the same thing. I called it "taking a breath" instead because that's what it feels like. Some days it's like art shifting a spyder...mostly when shifting to 2nd or 3rd for me. Try adjusting your approach to the shifting gears. This is just the way my...

    Wheelchair mount

I am looking into this same thing, not to get into a long discussion...I have a rigid chair, the back folds down..that's it. Now underneath the seat a bar ruins across the same length of the seat. I had this idea of welding a backrest tab that slides down into the seat. I hope this comes out...

    Terrible gas mileage

I have figured that I get about the same mpg's on my 2012 RS as this post too. All depends on how it is ridden on that days ride for me. Traffic, traffic oh and traffic![emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Replaced my floorboards

I am going to test them for awhile. Well after riding around yesterday, I found that it did change the way it rides, even though I sit at the same height with the seal boards versus Rivco. I do admit this gives me more room to adjust my feet when needed, don't have to worry about them much...

    Replaced my floorboards

I just wanted to show the forum my spyder with the seal floorboards. It did change the riding feel....before I sat in the bike a little bit lower and in the bike, the seal floorboards are higher than the other floorboards I had. Being 6 foot tall, a dead right leg and not much better on the...

    Riding On Wet Surfaces

I have to agree....that's a real nice video, I have been planning a trip to Colorado soon myself and taking both of my trikes. As for driving in wet weather is great on my rs spyder. As long as the front end stays put the rear end always follows it. The rear may slip a bit but it always seems to...

    Spyder Sightings

Spyder sighted in Corpus Christi This happened really quick but as I was pulling up to the light on slough Rd at the intersection of Rodfield rd. A rider on RT it looked like was heading west on Rodfield rd. towards Yorktown rd. This was the first spider I have seen in my home town so far. I...

Nothing spectacular just making it mine.

more on the velcro idea. Yeah I kinda thought the same thing. It really depends on what floorboards I decide to use. Right now I am using a drop down floorboard from the stock peg. I don't have any pics on my surface pro at the moment, but they are about as big as my boot and 4" below peg...

Nothing spectacular just making it mine.

thanks blueknight911...that would help. I went out and did a few measurements, your correct, its going to be a very tight fit, but If done right, will do the job. I did know that this was a RT model. I was going to repack the seat and replace the skin with some Harley Davidson leather. I have...

The Adventure Begins, Riding with MS!!!!!!! This is going to be long one......

Just wanted to say that riding with MS is difficult at times for me to. I have had it since I was in the marine corps in the 70's. Chronic pain mostly for me, scoliosis and wheelchair bound...but that didn't stop me from riding again. I started out on a scooter trike setup and found that I could...

    ISCI handbrake problem

Just a follow-up to the hand brake kit from ISCI...I have done a complete brake pads front and back and now the bike stops on a dime...almost to good. I find myself stopping a little sooner than needed mainly because of engine braking. After using the brake handle on the right side instead of...

How does the Scala Rider g9x radios compared to Senate radios? I have only been using the scala for a short time so I have no other experience. The VOX is my favorite feature does everthing else needed for a better ride, even riding alone I use my scala for music and the cell phone. Everything...
