• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Please critique my video

The background just drips, yes drips, with “toxic masculinity” (i.e., heavy equipment, gravel, dirt, etc). It’ll probably “trigger” the “snowflakes” in the target audience to fear the brand, compelling them to seek solace in a Schwinn, Radio Flyer, Fisher Price or similar trike. (At least you...

Honda jumping into the 3 wheel world

I dunno, kinda clunky in the front and lean in the back . . . I’m thinking it looks more like a mechanical wart-hog (maybe the next generation’s version of a transformer).

    HAPPY O'CANNIBIS DAY

It's not as simple as it appears! You may want to review research on the traffic crash trends in those States that have legalized marijuana use, as well as the literature on the trends of adolescent cannabis use. Then review the research on the long-term health effects early cannabis use has on...

Things I love about my spyder

Kudos to Fatcycledaddy Somehow I missed your original post. Thanks for revisiting it in response to the "positive comments about Spyders" thread that unfortunately turned a bit negative. I too have occasionally questioned whether to part with my Spyder before experiencing some future major...

    Positive comments about Spyders

Nice try on being positive. I appreciate your attempt to elicit positive comments about our Spyders over concern about what new or potential owners may think after reading many of the postings on this site. Perhaps they will learn as much about Spyder owners from this thread, and other...

    Positive comments about Spyders

"Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" I also have had a few problems with my Spyder, but the good times have overshadowed the performance problems, so I continue to ride. Current problems aside and having ridden 31,500 miles on your Spyder in the last year, I suspect you have had...

    Positive comments about Spyders

Best ride E-V-E-R! Having ascended Pikes Peak more times than I remember over the past 59 years, by car, rail, and on foot, I finally took the opportunity to travel the Pikes Peak Highway on my 2014 Spyder RT-S SE6 a couple of weeks ago. Without a doubt, this was the ride of my lifetime. I...

    Laser Alignment in Illinois

Also from the B-N area I had my 2014 RT-S laser aligned at World of Power Sports in Champaign about a year ago. I'm no expert, but I thought they did an excellent job. In my opinion the laser alignment seemed to greatly improve handling. I would be interested in your evaluation of the...

Can someone please tell me what BRP calls that " God Awful Yellow " that I've seen?

My '14 RT-S is Circuit Yellow My Spyder is circuit yellow, which makes my Spyder HIGHLY visible. It wasn't my first choice, but I appreciate the increased visibility. I only wish someone made decals or wraps that set it off like I've seen on other color Spyders. No offense to any other...

    Other peoples reaction

I'm from Illinois I'm from Illinois and I have rarely had another cyclist refuse to wave back. Most wave first. Just because someone doesn't wave to you, doesn't mean they are from the state you are in at the time. Perhaps they were just traveling through. No offense taken, but perhaps...

RT Side Pod Storage Case Lock

Side pod latch adjusstment I had the same problem with my '14 RT-S. There are adjusting mechanism for the cables that operate the latches for the side luggage. Strangely, they are located behind the rear tupperware panel, beneath the latch release handles. Getting that panel back on after...

Design help for additional brake warning light...please!!

Experience with Cosmo The Cosmo prototype was available for inspection at the most recent Chicago Motorcycle Show. I had the opportunity to personally view the demonstration. To my knowledge, the unit is self contained and only activates when forward motion ceases. That is the way it...

Design help for additional brake warning light...please!!

Check this out Actually, no. You would only need to buy an extra magnetic mount for the second helmet. You would simply remove the unit from you helmet and attach it to the magnetic mount on your passenger's helmet. I am waiting for an e-mail response from the company to see if the unit is...

    Frunk won't open...SUGGESTIONS??

could be a bad ignition switch I had sporadic problem getting frunk to release and to relatch on my 2014 RT-S recently. The ignition switch was eventually replaced under warranty. In the mean time, the tech instructed me to put the key in the ignition and give it a quick, sharp rap to...
