• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Utah National Parks accessibility

We both have passes. I turned 62 on January 11 and the price increased from $20 to $80 on January 1. It has paid for itself at $80, still a bargain!

    Utah National Parks accessibility

Thanks for the response. I hoped that was the case. We plan to take the Timeout camper and ride WY, CO, and over into Utah. Hope to be gone 2-3 weeks in early June.

    Utah National Parks accessibility

We live in South Dakota where you can't drive slow enough on some of the gravel. lol We travel a mile of gravel whenever we leave our house. I have installed the belt guard and drive very slow, usually less than 15 mph, but still hear a rock thump like it went between the belt and sprocket. We...

    Utah National Parks accessibility

My wife and I planned to travel through the National Parks in Utah on our Spyders. My question is how many of the roads in those parks are hard surfaced? I think most agree that Spyders and gravel roads aren't compatible. We plan to hike some but the accessibility is to the trailhead is still...

    2019 RTL wiring harness

I have installed the harness we discussed above. I read somewhere that you could just plug the 4 flat on the Spyder into the 5 flat on the trailer. Does anyone know if this is possible or do I just need to cut the 5 flat off and install a 4 like I did on my old trailer? Thanks

Thanks Lew, looked there, you are correct. I think $150 -$250 is a bit expensive to install an older unit

    brp back rest fitting

If you remove the Utopia does it leave hardware exposed? The BRP does have a slick removal process but I don't think it is as comfortable as the Show Chrome rest I had on my 2012 RT.

    2019 RTL wiring harness

I just traded for a 2019 RTL. I kept the hitch but am looking at the wiring harness. Trailers Etc has a harness for the18 and newer for $100. This is half price of anything else I have found. Does anyone have any experience with this brand or any suggestions?

    Backrest

I traded my 2012 RTL for a 2019 RTL. My 2012 had a Show Chrome backrest. I had no issues with it, maybe not as solid as the Can Am driver backrest I installed on my wife's 2018. It seems the Can Am rest pushes me ahead, resulting in less legroom. I did adjust the Can Am rest which is an...

I installed a backrest and Baha sway bar this year. I enjoyed both but definitely didn't use them enough to justify the cost!

    2012 to 2019 RTL

I don't love the quirks of the twin, battery location for one. I think I Will miss the GPS, many areas we ride in don't have cell service. Correct me if I'm wrong but I wouldn't have navigation without cell service on the 2019?
