• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

An Embarrasing but funny story I have to share...

No choice with a Ryker. The Kill Switch is the Only way to shut the engine off. And yes, I've tried to start it with the kill switch off!

Old School Rider - The only sounds I need are the wind and the bike!

+ Another one! My Ryker has no sound system or GPS. Phone is in my pocket.

Has anyone with a '21+ Spyder got a Baja Ron anti sway bar? Worth it?

:agree:+2 Three of us who frequently ryde together bought 2020 RTLs at the same time. Based on our previous Spyder experiences (2013 and 2014 models - all upgraded), we had the dealer fit BajaRon swaybars before we took delivery. From my own perspective and riding style, having tried a 2020 RT...

Wow! No One uses this sub-forum? Any interest in putting together an Ohio Club?

:agree: A lot of the ryding groups in BC only post their info on Facebook.

Time to say "Adieu" - and now after a couple of years, "Hello" again!

Couple of close calls! Those, and the added requirement to put your feet on the floor when needed, were some of the deciders. A good friend said jokingly that I was trying to recapture my misspent youth. My reply was that my youth was so far in the past that I couldn't remember if it was...

Time to say "Adieu" - and now after a couple of years, "Hello" again!

Back again, after a couple of years trying to convince myself that returning to 2 wheels was a good idea at my age. The experiment has, regrettably, been a failure despite the best efforts of a Honda CB500X and a Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor. So now I'm just waiting for my Ryker 900 Sport to...

Can I use this Motorcycle Lift for Servicing my Ryker? Where to lift?

A question for the knowledgeable folks on this forum. I have recently purchased (but not yet received!) a 2023 900 Sport and already have an OTC 1545 Motorcycle/ATV lift (https://otctools.com/products/motorcycle-lift). Can this be used to lift the Ryker safely? If so, where would be the best...

Buying a new Ryker Rally - any MUST HAVE accessories to get right from the start?

Has anyone tried the CalSci windshields for Rykers? Great products. I've installed them on 2 motorcycles but not a 3WV. https://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/SpyderRykerprod.html

Time to say "Adieu" - and now after a couple of years, "Hello" again!

Time to say "Adieu" - and now after a couple of years, "Hello" again! "Webby2" has gone to a new home with another Spyder rider, but I still have her personalized plate and the memories. Time to move on... Happy New Year to all! Mike

    40w LED headlights

My riding buddy and I purchased the Extreme LED kits from XenonDepot (https://www.xenondepot.com/) on a 2013 RT-S and a 2014 RT-L. Bit of a learning curve on installation, but the end result was well worth it. Big difference to road illumination at night and vehicle visibility by day.

    Favorite ride close to home

Two "must-do" rides on Vancouver Island, BC. Gold River Hwy (#28) from Campbell River to Gold River - about an hour of lakes, forests, mountains and loads of twisties. Add 30mins for a side trip to Myra Falls. A great breakfast-and-back run. Pacific Rim Hwy (#4) from Qualicum Beach to Tofino -...

BRP Shaky Mirror Fix for 2020 RT and F3T/L

The set for each mirror has three BRP part numbers, but don't have them. The upgrade kit the dealer ordered came with two sets, enough to fix both mirrors

    Clock not keeping time.

My 2013 RT-S clock would gain around 15mins a month. I had to upgrade to a 2020 RTL just to get an accurate digital timepiece! :joke:
