• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seat latch won't open - any new ideas?

Thanks... I tried putting my whole weight on a knee and kneeling on it, but I'll try sitting completely on it and try again... How do you disconnect the cable to the key?? I saw an old vid where they left the motor running while engaging the key to open the frunk. Is the seat latch a purely...

Seat latch won't open - any new ideas?

2016 F3T seat latch won't unlock with the key. I've tried pushing down on the seat, WD40, prying under the seat edge... any new ideas??? I lubed it and the frunk latch/cable before putting it away, and the frunk works fine... will this be a trip to the dealer?😕

2016 F3T ACS (Suspension) won't hold air! Safe to ride? Fixes?

Well, label me stupid! I did the soapy water leak test twice - the first time was with the inflator on, thinking the act of filling it would produce more of a leak; second try, filled it and removed the inflator as quickly as possible, as it was now soapy slippery - only to find lots of bubbles...

2016 F3T ACS (Suspension) won't hold air! Safe to ride? Fixes?

Sorry I wasn't clear, but I don't have the compressor system, only the valve. Pretty sure it's the bag itself that's blown... no soapy water bubbles and by the time I get the inflator off and rechecked, it'd lost 20#, and within seconds more, it's down to zero. I also just got the Fanttik X9 Pro...

2016 F3T ACS (Suspension) won't hold air! Safe to ride? Fixes?

Thanks all. It won't hold air at all, fill it up and within seconds it's gone. Rear tire is original make/size. I'm a moderately sized old man at 5'10" 195#. I will plan for a LONG time in the shop... tx so much for the help.

2016 F3T ACS (Suspension) won't hold air! Safe to ride? Fixes?

Well, pretty sure I've blown the ACS (won't hold air). Have a call into dealer, but in the meantime, do any of you tech wizards know: 1) how difficult it for it to be replaced i.e. is it a leave it at the dealer (for days) OR quick enough to sit and wait for it; AND 2) assuming it's safe in...

    Slow Turning Starter

Same issue I was surprised on my F3T how minimally loose the cable was compared to how tough the starting was getting, but like you, tightened it up, problem fixed

Are You Using the FOBO "Lock Nuts" - POLL INCLUDED

agree w above :agree: Since they pair w my phone, I'm assuming the thief would have to steal the FOBOs AND my phone in which case, I'd have more issues than the FOBO theft!

    Looking for 3 wheel scooter/moped

Piaggio I had and MP3 and loved it as it seemed more stable than two wheeled scooters. You're correct that you only have to pass a leg thru vs up and over like a Spyder. However, with the MP3, you still have to be able to keep it upright with your own leg(s) when you come to a stop, esp a...

    Turn signal

firefly...that's what i'm left with doing now but being a bit clumsy, i'll inadvertently nudge the signal to the right instead of straight down and now i have a right signal going...must be confusing for cagers watching me and waiting to come into the intersection:pray: billy...thinking that as...

    Turn signal

Have a 2016 F3T and I'm having turn signal issues. Left won't turn off after a left-hand corner turn and handle bars are returned to straight. Also seems to stay on way longer than the 30 sec? time out after using it to indicate a lane switch i.e. no right angle turn. Right signal switch not...

    Compression Bags

Compression bag ? For those commenting on their use, how does one "compress" the Nelson - Rigg bag and keep it compressed? Most "compression" bags I've packed in the car are plastic ones and vacuum sweeper hose attachment is the means of compression. it wasn't really clear on their website??

    FOBO not syncing

Had this going on an earlier post, but thought I'd share here. Put FOBOs on last season and loved them. Put new batteries in a few wks back and all was good. I wanted to change the hi/lo parameters but after I did, I couldn't get them to resync. Was in email contact w FOBO and it was determined...

    FOBO will not pair

Had similar issue(s) with the FOBO not re-syncing...replaced the batteries this spring and they re-synced fine...then I adjusted the hi / low settings and had to re-pair the sensors and they wouldn't re-sync...got the same 12 steps from FOBO rep and tried them all...now they're telling me it's...

Another F3T air adjustable shock ?

Followed woodbox thread and also older ones on the F3T air adjustable shock. It seems there's an "acceptable leak" of ~ 1-2 pounds / ride or per week or so. Mine seems to leak much faster than that. I read an older post about how this can be fixed by trimming the valve, but curious me...
