• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the 2023 Spyder Rendezvous still on? Any Info?

Is the '23 Rendezvous still on? The link from the Spyder Events goes nowhere. I tried a email yesterday to Rob's and didn't receive an answer. I was thinking about this as a trip with one of my grandkids if it's still on. Anyone have any information? Jerry "Coke" Cokel

Any ideas on where to put a better antenna for CB Radio?

Do you have a luggage rack on the trunk? That would probably be my 1st choice. I don't know about you, but I cringe at drilling holes in my ryde. Coke

Who Out There Has Gotten The Replacement Sprocket?

I questioned the service dept at World Of Power Sports in Peoria about this on 1/18/23. I was told that a fix is not yet available and when it was BRP didn't cover the cost. I called BRP on 1/19/23 and was told a temporary fix which is replacing bolts is available but new sprockets are not yet...

Any ideas on where to put a better antenna for CB Radio?

As a semi-retired truck driver, I liked to use Francis antennas which are inexpensive and available at any truck stop. The longer the better, but it catches more wind.Mounting it might take more ingenuity.

Is it OK to put new battery on tender all winter that has never been used?

I once wire an outlet from the light on the garage door opener and plugged the battery tender into it. Worked well, charging with battery tender a couple times a day but not overcharging.

Your thoughts on using the hitch as a tie down??

I use a soft tie around the passenger floorboards, then of course add regular tie downs. They are sturdy and pull it down and forward into the chocks.

Ferry Crossings - do Spyders need to strap down?

I've been a bit curious about the Badger that crosses Lake Michigan. I've had friends take that trip on 2 wheelers (Guzzi) but always thought about taking that trip on my RT. Anyone out there done that? Coke

    Helmet issues

I bought an HJC open face that I could never get rid of the pain in the forehead area. I took a chance on a Arai on sale and haven't regretted it so far.

    My season has started

Every day? I have a daughter in Fountain Hills and keep track of the temps. I'm guessing she doesn't have a tan because when it's summer, it's AC time. But, she did say the mountains were a half hour away. Coke

2018 RTL Need help Sitting for 9 months

I have a '15 RT-S and sitting it will slowly discharge the battery. It does have the original in it, but has done that since new. Use a jump pack if you have one or a small trickle charger or even another motorcycle, lawnmower that has a small battery. Don't leave a car battery jumping it for...

Has anyone noticed, or is it just me

A couple observations as a "semi" retired driver. Not trying to make an excuse for a stupid move. The mirrors on a truck are large and are at the same height as a driver's eyes and so are stop, warning signs at corners. I have on several occasions thought the road was clear only to start pulling...

    Another dealer dropping Spyder Line

Midwest Performance and Power in Keokuk IA also dropped their Spyder line. BRP told them they had to take on the Ryker line and they felt that there was not a market for them in the area. So they dropped the Spoilers but kept their offload lineup. Seems that BRP could stand a little flexibility...

Folding Chairs that fit in frunk?

There are leg extensions for the Kermit chairs which get you in a normal seating height. I have them for mine and the wife's Kermits. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Coke

    Florida vacation

I checked with them, it was going to be close to $800 round tripping. Just can't justify that for a few days of ryding. Besides, my SS check would be feeling painful. Coke

    Florida vacation

Our trip will take us to Tampa area then to in-laws at Palm Coast (who have a H trike). We have a hitch, but no trailer anymore anyway. Sold it and pickup to finance the RT in '15. Found another site, www.rider-share.com , that is another possibility. Closest Spyder worth considering is S of...
