• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Belt vibration

I know this has been beat to death over the years but.... Just had the dreaded sprocket failure on my 16 F3T SM6 Seminole Pwr Sports did the change out and BRP paid for it. All good, got 30k out of it before failure. But.... I always had the minor vibration between 60-65 that eased up when speed...

    Front Sprocket Failure

BRP approved my out of warranty sprocket repair. Mine had 30k+ at failure. They ordered a new sprocket and bolt. Hopefully I'll get it back by the end of the week. I love my F3T and was real lucky the sprocket went in the state park where we were staying rather than on the Cherohala Skyway the...

    Front Sprocket Failure

Well it took a few more miles than most but..... 30,500 miles. 2016 F3T SM6 yesterday the shaft splines on mine went. Bolt was not loose, I've never spun tires or done any crazy shifts. Luck was with me I had been on the Cherohala Skyway the day before. Spun coming up out of Vogel State Park in...

    Was a Spyder a Mistake?

This is my second Spyder. The first was a used 13RTL. Had one issue with the reverse switch (fixed under warranty) Made the mistake of test riding a 16 F3T. Traded the RTL with 45,000 miles on it. The 16 F3T (one of the last SEM's) is now just shy of 30k. The only thing that's been done to it is...

    F3 trailer loading issues

I've had this problem with both the toyhauler than I just sold and now with the utility trailer I bought to pull behind the Class A. Biggest issue is with the switch on the left by the transmission shaft. It's angled down and catches on the gate when unloading. I don't see a way to adjust it...

    Trailering the F3

Hadn't thought about E track. I could maybe get away with screwing it to the floor vice through bolting it. Hmmmm Thanks

    Trailering the F3

Looking for unconventional tie down solutions. Just bought a 2010 Coachman toyhauler. The only way I can install tie downs directly in front of the front wheels is to remove the trailer water tank. That isn't going to happen. One thought I had with the existing tie downs is to secure the bike...

    toy hauler ramp solutions??

I'm switching over from a cargo trailer/camper I built to a 2010 29' toy hauler. Ramp is much steeper than the cargo trailer. I have some ideas to reduce the angle but I'd like to see what others have done. All ideas and pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pat

    Rear seat latch

Good morning, Biggest thing with me is the seat in hard. Sits up too high. I like the F3 because you sit down in it not on it like my previous RT. I've got 18k on the bike and put a couple of hundred on the Ultimate seat to give it a good try. Seems to be a good company, super customer...

    Rear seat latch

Does anyone have a picture of the underside of their rear seat. I switched to an Ultimate Seat and don't care for it. Now I can't figure out how the spring goes on the latch post. Thanks Pat

    F3 tool kit and more?

Even though the 1330 doesn't use oil I still carry a quart of it. Hold over from the 998 I guess. But... you can run out of gas a bunch of times. You can run out of oil only once. Pat

    Ultimate seat

Question for anyone who has bought an Ultimate seat for their F3. If you didn't order it with the backrest, was the bracket for one already installed on the seat. I have Lamont's back rest from Ultimate so I don't need another. They told me on the phone I'd have to buy a bracket for the seat...

Open indicator switch on the top box

Anyone else having issues with this switch? I gave up today and just put a small tie wrap on it to keep the switch closed. Pat

    Riding Two Up.

I went from a 13 RT LTD to a 16 F3T and added the top box. Have to watch out for my girlfriend falling asleep. One of the things I liked best about the F3's adjustability in regard to brakes, shifter (mine is a manual) and handlebars. Also I like the lack of (tupperware) Less storage room on the...

    Backrest and windshield recommendations?

Windshield and backrest I bought Lamonster's back rest and am very happy with it. The windshield is a Madstad. I like the way it mounts and adjusts. https://madstad.com/collections/can-am/products/can-am-spyder-f3-t-ltd?variant=36882778510 Pat

    Lost more tupperware.

BRP is paying for the parts. Well the panel was on when we left from the diner. I've looked and looked and can't see how it could have come off. Dealer called me today and since I was in the area I stopped by. Beats them and everyone that looked at it. BRP said order the parts and they would...

    Lost more tupperware.

Speaker grill and fairing on my F3T top box went flying yesterday somewhere along my breakfast ride. No flipping clue how it popped off or where. Never had any reason to pull the cover off so it's never been removed by me. I was the last guy in the group so no one saw it come off. I had two...
