• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just bought a 2012 RT-S and major oil leak is occurring.

Glad to hear Sierra Cycles took good care of you. It's worth a trip down there in my opinion. Can't imagine what Ride Now would have charged you. :gaah:

Front Pulley R&R - can it be done without loosening belt tension?

No problem, Jack up the rear wheel till tension is off the lower shock bolt, remove the bolt, raise the Jack till the belt is loose enough to remove from front sprocket. Retourqe the front sprocket bolt when finished.

    Another "Check DPS" warning

You better find a new tech ! I changed my DPS unit myself several months ago, there is no fluid supplied to that unit. Changing the unit itself is not that hard.

    Bleeding Brakes and ABS unit?

I'll start out by saying I've had a brake failure warning for the last several weeks, so yesterday was a good day to install new brake pads on the rear and bleed my brakes, at least it started out that way. A few weeks ago, I had ordered four speed bleeders for the three wheels and the clutch...

If you will look at the previous post ... it was dated Feb of 2010...... I believe the RT's weren't released at that time...... it'd be better to start a new thread

    Handle Bar Riser

The 7/8 in are the ones that will work. You will have to remove the plastic around the nose section and cut tie wraps holding the clutch hose and wiring.

    Handle Bar Riser

I still have my '08 GS, first thing I did was put on risers. The ones I bought were the 4 " ones off eBay. They were for dirt bikes. Do a search on eBay for 4 " dog bone risers. I think I spent all of $30 for them. And I'm still using them. Best thing I ever put on the bike.
