• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Nylon Saddlebags

I like the way that looks. Doesn't look like the bike has odd growths on it. Might have to give that a go.

    Nylon Saddlebags

The extra support could be tricky. Any suggestions? I was looking at hard bags and ez-mount, but as with all things Spyder, so much money.

Does anyone have any experience with the following on the F3? https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/cortech-super-20-saddlebags or maybe https://www.revzilla.com/product/tour-master-nylon-cruiser-iii-box-saddlebags Trying to sort out what bags I want, but I need them only for certain trips so...

F3 with Blue Ridge - Modifications to help with turbulence

IT'S ALIVE!!! Bringing this thread out from the grave as it has a lot of good info in it and I'm finally going to attempt and fix my windscreen issues this riding season. Since I already have the Blueridge I was thinking about trading it for a route 129 or using the spacers and bottom cut...

Modify Blue Ridge into Route 129?

Howdy folks, Think I could take the Blue Ridge to a shop and have it cut into a Route 129? Check out the windshield section with a nice three side by side by side pic http://www.steveninsales.com/new-features-can-spyder-f3-accessories/

Summer Jacket Thoughts and Other Gear

 Great post, thanks! I looked your helmet and it looks great. I have a neotec right now. I often wonder if a one piece helmet is quieter than my neotec.

Roger that, these jackets look nice. I agree with the traffic lights as well. The F3 gets soooooo hot at a light.

Summer Jacket Thoughts and Other Gear

Howdy Folks, I'm looking to acquire a summer jacket for riding the F3-S. I currently have this in grey and find if it's above 80 I become the swamp thing. I am curious what mesh jackets folks recommend and if maybe a kevlar shirt is enough. The current jacket is great for cooler days, and...

    Chopped rear fender

Yeah, I saw those new fenders. Not at a bad look to them. Thanks for the warehouse site, found a few good prices on there. While cheaper, I feel like anything over 250 is too much lol. :dontknow:

    Chopped rear fender

Howdy folks, Does anyone know if there is a aftermarket option for the chopped fender? $429.99 seems an awful lot of money for it. Best I can tell it's not even body matching... http://store.spyder.brp.com/product/0/219400597/_/Chopped_Rear_Fender Thanks, DP

F3 with Blue Ridge - Modifications to help with turbulence

Thanks for all the alternatives folks. It's much appreciated. I am slightly intrigued by the spacers and cutting a slot in the bottom. That seems to be a 20$ fix if it works. The spacers create a better deflection and the cut allows more air to hit you and the engine for cooling while also...

F3 with Blue Ridge - Modifications to help with turbulence

Thanks for the replies. I've considered replacing the windshield, but the BR was so expensive it's a big loss to write off. Perhaps there is a market for used ones. The x-creen, did you use the temporary or permanent install? Does it seem like it will last and stay clear and scratch free?

F3 with Blue Ridge - Modifications to help with turbulence

Howdy, I've been researching how folks have handled the turbulence from the blue ridge windshield online. From what I've seen you can get the windshield extender or drill holes. My question is about the results of drilling holes. I would rather just modify the shield and not put an extender...
