• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    A deak? NFI

Saw this on the Houston CL: http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/5246967194.html Not convinced it is a real thing but if someone local wants to check, might be deal of a lifetime. I would ask the owner for the VIN before going to see it and run a VIN check.

    Selling on CL?

Selling a Spyder on CL can be interesting. As soon as it is posted, you will generally receive several offers to buy from people who are well out of your area. Seems like a favorite tool now is the text message. Spyder has been for sale for seven minutes and you will get something like, is...

    Wiring for volt meter

Obviously water will permeate the gauge face and follow along the wire into your frunk and then into your fuse box! OK, a lot of advise and some of it is contradicting... GET A MULTIMETER. Put it is VDC scale with black probe on black wire. I think it is the black that is ground. Put RED...

All the 2016 Spyder Lineup info posted here!

A top-of-the-line F3 is now about the same price as a Mustang GT 5.0. The price point of the higher end models of most Spyder lines is starting to verge on insane.

2013 Recall and the popping exhaust

Popping indicates a lean condition. Since fuel is metered by a computer, it is most likely air in combustion chamber caused by air leak. Can be a leak in a vacuum line connected to the FI or perhaps the exhaust was removed and new exhaust gaskets were not installed.

    Considering my first RT

The flat 6 in a wing is vastly superior for touring in character and torque than a Rotax engine. The only issue I had with my GL1800 was the foot position and that was with boards, heel/toe shifter and highway pegs. Just not enough room to be REALLY comfy foot-wise; otherwise comfort was A1...

    Wrist twist steering by Ford

He better be your BEST BUDDY if you have to lean over him to shoot the deer through the passenger window.

    Newbe here

I have a 2010 RT and the only cigarette lighter type plug on mine is in the trunk. I think it is rated for very low amps so if you get a pump, put a fused cigarette lighter type outlet coming direct off the battery; read your instructions for the pump to figure out exactly how many amps it...

Any Windows XP Gurus out there? If so, HELP!!!

FYI: I saw on TV that John McAfee is going to run for president as a candidate of the "Cyber Party". He looked stoned during the interview. Sorry for the hijack and don't want to intro politics into this discussion but thought it was amusing.

    Considering my first RT

Can-Am has incrementally fixed some of the issues the initial RT had. The latest offerings have heavier tie rods and better shocks but they obviously focused on some arbitrary list of doo-dads a top end tourer must have and perhaps not some of the things I would have gotten down first...

    Heading south for the winter

Sounds great! Kerrville isn't exactly in the center of the Hill Country but is a great place to start rides. Lots of good restaurants at least.

    Heading south for the winter

Its called a drop tail trailer no ramps the back half drops down. Its the only trailer that would work for me keeping me at 65 ft, max length you can tow. So you are headed towards the Hill Country? Where to?

    new owner with riding issues

Since Arkansas has some of the best two-lanes and friendliest people in the country, guess they can live with a little ribbing? As far as laser alignment places, Jonesboro is about 200 miles from Springfield MO where one of our site sponsors Pit Bull does alignments.

    Considering my first RT

I have a manual transmission and tried out the paddle shifter and was not impressed. I think Can-Am should put out a FULL AUTOMATIC and be done with the semi-auto. I certainly wouldn't pay $2K for the paddle shifter. Just not worth it to me but others will likely disagree. I think the...

    Really frustrated. Louise 2013 Dead..AGAIN

Guess that is what I was looking for. Its a shame that our area of Texas has a deficit of 1st rate service departments.
